"Reported" by another GB2 user?

I was recently botting in Uldum and I happened to be at the computer when I received a whisper from somebody calling me a bot and saying they would report me. So, after a short battle of wits, he said something that floored me. He outright asked me if i was running GB2! Now how can another GB2 user with any self respect threaten to report another botter?

Has this ever happened to any of you?

 

If he is dumb enough to report you, hopefully Blizz will examine the chat log and see this guy seems to be very aware of bots.
"Hmmm, I wonder what his own gathering/selling/hours played looks like...."

 

i have report more then 20ppl that boting on my server!
i did that after i have found the banker of each one of them.
reason of reporting? fucked up the price of an item...
i never show the 15 of them again!

I would report a boter, a boter who don?t turn off ninja nodes as i think that is so rude and selfish.

But i guess this person noticed you and wanted to scare you away so he would be alone.

I make my own profiles, some i upload here and it was hilarious that time when i ended up side by side with someone actually using my profile didn?t report him but hey...

and Tony, is it against the forum rules to report other GB2 users? unless it is you can?t really do anything without breaking rules your self against that person even if you have his nick.

and finally, a tip for all GB2 users use the function that make the bot not ninja nodes.

I had a guy once in a battleground type to me... Lol what CC are you using... I told him... lol just stock ones... He said... Oh I hate those (that was allllllong time ago)

 

Threatening people on the forum is against the rules, and i just advice people to use the avoid nodes with players near. I am not threatening you here by saying "i will hunt you down and report you to blizzard".

 

I'm not accusing you of anything at all, just linking the forum rules you asked about.

I totally agree that using 'ninja nodes' is rude and selfish, and I wouldn't choose to do it myself.

But reporting botters who choose to use that option in GB2 still sucks.

 

did you NOT learn from the other jerk i banned? why the hell would you even post that if you didnt want people to troll you? your getting a 3 day just for trying to stir up crap on the forms.
