Get a 85 char, find a good profile (test them, 4 or 5) and then stock the mats and sell them. You will learn with time, it depends of your server.
What i do is: download a handful of highly rated profiles (read comments). Rename them like this: Uldum1, uldum2, uldum3, uldum4... as uldum as an example of the zone. Run uldum1 for an hour, create a text document/ excel document and write down the herbs you get and the number of each in that hour. Do the same for the rest of the profiles. When you are done, you will be able to see which profiles are best for an herb/ ore. Keep the best profile, delete the others. Rename the one you keep with "Whiptail" for example, the name of the herb you want to farm. If you have 2 profiles for mining, one for elementium, one good for pyrite, and you want to farm pyrite mainly, you want to have 2 mining profiles for that zone, so call one "Elementium" and one "pyrite". If you get max nodes in the same profile, just name it "UldumMining". Also note that in several zones, mining profiles can be used for herbs, and herb profiles can be used for mining. In hyjal, my best cinderbloom profile is an obsidium profile that I downloaded. I use the same profile for both of those. Also, remember to test your profiles at the same times. If you test one at 2AM, and one at 3PM, there will be bias, as one is during peak hours, one is when nobody else is online. So try to keep both late at night or both during peak hours. You might get 50 nodes at 3pm and 200 at 2am, while using the same profile. Also, watch the profiles at least for one cycle through the waypoints, to make sure it's not super bottish/ getting stuck. My elementium profile is extremely bottish and seems to never find nodes when I watch it, but in all of my tests it has come out on top with tons of pyrite and elementium.
Also, check the prices at the AH - some items are at a lower price during weekend for example - so don't sell everything when your bank is full.
When I have tons of herbs, I send them to a private buyer. It's a pain to sit at the AH, wait for shit to sell, then put more up. When i have 100 stacks, it takes a long time. I sell cinderbloom for 180g a stack and whiptail for 240g a stack. Herb prices suck anyways... most of the gold I make is from volatile life, which i do sell in the AH at 2 stacks at a time. Just find something that works for you. Plus, selling to a private buyer doesn't bring attention to me having TONS of herbs. When people see you ALWAYS selling something in the AH, they tend to notice...
ha-ha-ha good joke m8) share your timeMachine please for us. my server is 12-15g for Cinderbloom and 11-13g for whiptail. Squad of bots are harvesting, there is no profit.
Im Looking for peeps to check out the site. it's nothing fancy, mainly looking for farmers to fill out the comment card with gold supplies and servers you have supplies on WWW.USAGameCurrency.com comment form is on the contact us page, thx again
i prefer to make flasks instead selling herbs (less stacks at the ah) and on my server herbs are at 2g per unit (you need 16 herbs per flask) and volatile life can't be sold. Flask price: 60g herb price: 32g and with alchemy you have procs, etc... really, selling mats solo sux, always better to use skills to have extra golds. With gold i earn, i buy living ember, 17k for 4 embers and sell boots for 30k, easy way to make 30k per day when you sell them
Lol typo. 180g per COD (12 stacks). and 240g per 12 stacks. Herbs suck on my server, I make gold from volatile life. cinderbloom goes for about 20g a stack on my server, whiptail for 25-30. I sell volatile life for no less than 1500g a stack. In one night from my 2 accounts, I get 6 stacks or so. I sold 200k about a month ago, and now i'm about to sell 250k-300k gold, and I'm gonna try my best to get it back to sell again (use different IP)
My most used method is flasking. Around 100g per flask give or take 10-15g depending on demand. Ores I just sell raw, there was a huge elementium shortage on my server recently and I was the only person selling in bulk, was jagging 90g per stack for about 4 weeks. When the volatile life prices fluctuates back up, I'll sell raw stacks of that (around 2k - 2.4k per stack) and use my herbs to make fortune cards which sell for about 20g each. Volatile fires / waters I sell raw. Around 2k per stack for fire, 2.6k for waters. Airs sell for about 4.8k per stack, but I prefer to keep them for my truegold xmutes. Especially given they're not easy to farm.
I generally sell raw mats. Flask prices aren't worth it at about 35g per flask, I really cba to craft them for what maybe 5g profit per flask against selling the herbs direct.
