[Plugin - Monitoring] PushNotify - Events & Chat Monitor with Mob Loot Filter

PushNotify will push events to an internet ready device using Prowl, It has the ability to ONLY push chat events if your Toon's name or an Alias name is found with in the chat! as well as the ability to loot mobs that are >= X levels below you.

Can Push the Following Events:

• Archeology Solves
• Say
• Guild
• Emotes
• Text Emotes
• Yell
• Party <-- including Party Leaders chat
• Battleground
• whispers
• level up
• death
• BattleNet Whispers

Has ability to Push Events when your name (or alias) is found:

• Battleground
• Guild <-- useful for busy guilds so you dont get notified all the time!
• Party <-- including Party Leaders chat
• Say
• Yell

Setup
Create a PushNotify folder with in the Plugins Folder and extract the contents of the .zip file into the PushNotify folder.

When you startup HB make sure you go into the PushNotify Plugin Settings and add your Prowl API key and enable/disable the features you want!

PushNotify will already know your toons name, but you can configure up to 5 aliases.

Mob Level Loot Filter can be Enabled/Disabled depending on needs. I used it when farming Archeology using ArcheologyBuddy, so I would loot mobs what were level 80+ for potential BoE's

Credits
I -*cough* borrowed- the push notification code from BuddyCenter (back when BuddyCenter was broken - thanks/sorry Ralphus and Possien!) I added the ability to only send notifications if your toon's name or alias name was found within the chat and also fixed Party chat to include Party Leaders as well.

I got the idea for Mob Level Loot Filter from a plugin DontLootThis. I do not know who the author of DontLootThis is but it didnt seem to work for me, and I have completely rewritten it and incorporated it into this plugin, but Giving props as it was indeed a great idea!

I have not tested all aspects of this plugin 100% so there may be bugs in it. If you run into any bugs, please post a log and description of the bug and I will address it as soon as I can.

Notes
You do not need to use the Prowl notifications of this plugin to use the Mob Loot Filter, all you need to do is disable Prowl notifications.

I work Full time and do not have alot of free time to trouble shoot and support. This is my first attempt at a plugin as well as my first go around with C#, but I am a programmer and was able to pick it up fairly easily.

Very nice was looking for the option when name shows up to notify! In my guild they talk loads
Could u add more ligns for the aliases as there are some possibilities in my case

Could you add support for Growl also?

 

Sure I will look into it. Also, I am working on a bug that ive seen pop up a couple times over the last few weeks. Every now and then, the bot will attepmt to loot a mob that has already been looted. I dont know if this is an HB issue or my plugin, but workin on that as well.

Edit: Ahh i can see that growl for windows can forward to notifymyandroid, so probably better to just focus on Growl growl can even forward to prowl as well

Did anyone update this for Notify My Android or Growl?

 

Would really appreciate if anyone did this since BuddyCenter doesn't work with Notify My Android anymore.

 

So I had a go at changing this to NMA from prowl, it still runs ok but I don't get the notifications, can anyone take a look and see what I've missed?

I tried your version and I don't get the messages pushed to NMA. I wonder what could be the cause... so this is working for you? I even made a clean installation of HB, etc. I switched off windows firewall even but still nothing.

 

Are you using the 2nd one I posted? (Have deleted the first one now.)
Basic questions but....
You added this to plugins folder?
You ticked it in the plugin options?
You have added your NMA api key to the plugin options?

Beyond that I'm afraid I dont know, I'm not a coder so I dont know the details but this works fine for me now.

You checked NMA pushes to your phone?

 

I tested to send notification by Growl for Windows to the key I created and it worked, so I guess that means it should. However I might have missed something here...

 

Hmmm... mine also works if I send it from Growl..
You have got a whisper in game for it to send a notification?
Otherwise is only seems to send the status report every 30 mins or what you have set that to.
