US So i got home this afternoon to find the botting acc had dc'd. went to log in and it said account closed. I checked my email and had the following; Account Name: ************ Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy. Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment. So i followed the links and sent blizz a ticket with the following This is the ticket description: My wife was playing the account ###### this morning and when i got home she tells me that she got disconnected and couldn't log back in. She says that she was in uldum at the time. Can you please advise why she can't log into her account and when can she play again. Thanks 16mins later i got an email from Blizz This is the latest response from Customer Support: Greetings, Thank you again for contacting Blizzard Entertainment. We have sent an email to the registered email address we have on file for the account you are reporting. If you have any questions about this issue please review the email sent for more information. The status of your Customer Support ticket # has changed to “Resolved.” I can now logg in on botting account. Back to botting now
With all these banned accounts being returned to players , it seems to me blizzard have no idea what they are doing , they are obviously acting on player reports and when it's your word against the reporters there is nothing they can do , as they cant just accept the reporters word , you might have upset him in a bg and he reports you for something in game .
