Mornin folks I have been banned this morning@ 6 a clock The GM told me that i will be bannend for 72 hours as reasons of botting. My chars name has letters u cant report so I think blizzard has detected the bot. So be carfull by using Honnorbuddy
a) there's an addon you can use for getting a player's name even if you can't type the characters ("/copythat GetMouseFocus():GetName()") b) they might have reported you, typing your name as best they could and telling the GM "it was something like that", and when they saw you c) someone could've reported where you were bot'ing, and a GM could've watched you d) if they were detecting HB then pretty much everyone using it would've just been banned
Um..just because you have special characters in your name you can still report. All you have to do is whisper that person then press enter and SHIFT click their name and then Shift + A to select all and then CTRL + C to copy it. the bot isn't detected
hate these people claiming it's detected because just them got banned. you prolly did something wrong while botting we don't know, also you didn't attach the letter for your ban which doesn't show it's true. Then 72 hours suspended = no ban! keep this in mind, BAN = PERM!
the bot is not detected lol , if it was we would all be kicked off . but on another note , botters are being reported a lot in bg's lately , all they are doing is following and people are just shouting report <name here> hes a follow bot , so be careful using your follow plugins as they are clearly being spotted
I believe they can read our ram as we agree to that in the eula, but it's probably something they have to do manually so they need a complaint or something first so they know who to investigate. One thing you can do is change the name of the HB executable to something one would be likely to see in the task manager. However, we can not change the name of any dlls that HB loads AFAIK. Best bet is to not piss off any players to not get reported to begin with.
Not. A "ban" does not have to be permanent to be called like that. Thats just something someone got up with, and it is plain bs. Bans may be permanent or temporarily. And simply because Blizzard itself uses "suspended" instead of "banned", it does not necessary mean the word "ban" is incorrect. Stop posting this crap.
