All, I went to sleep last night and woke up to see that my bot had done no leveling at all and just died and respawned over and over again. I feel like this might be a red flag to Blizzard. What do you recommend I do at this point?
Not go totally AFK like that unless you're doing something that is designed to be completely AFK'able (like arch buddy or gathering) ;-) What profile / CC etc where you using?
Other than what Negarious already said, I would not walk away from your bot for the next day or so just in case Bliz sends a GM to check out what's going on... or better yet, just play manually for a few days to completely play it safe. If I had thrown up a flag like that, that's what I would do...
PS - another idea would be to install this plugin that was just released and make sure your speakers are turned up... lol http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/plugins/free/33466-[plugin]-what-killed-me.html
Well, I just got PM'd by a GM. As soon as I saw that I filled out the account recovery form stating my account was hacked. Hopefully this doesn't hurt too bad. Also, I was using Kick's profile pack but I'm now moving to something different because I was only 21 and it was taking me to lvl 40s. We'll see what happens. I'll keep you posted.
I have since lost the log after a reinstall. It was walking into an Alliance area over and over again.
I would be very careful about filling out account recovery forms online... make sure its not a phising attempt by checking the URL first.
I guess you mean that spot between Northern Barrens and Stonetalon Mountains? Wiped to that spot around 100 times a night one week ago. The account hasnt been banned yet.
Seriously, going afk for hours or days with a profile you haven't written or tested before is just bad period. No matter how trustworthy the profile writers are, i use Kicks 80-85 and Firelands quests myself, you should always-always-always run it at least once while at most semi-afk. Watching TV, or surfing , whatever just to make sure it doesn't do what this did. This way you can edit it yourself or ask why it's doing this...before dying 120 times Everyone makes mistakes. Runtos should/could/would better be flytos. End of the day blackspots are your friend.
Honestly if this isn't a clear illustration of 'we need an option/plugin to auto-logout after x deaths', I don't know what is.
