And unbanned for the 5th time again! How do i do it? Ban #1: <exploitation of economy>2 months ago Claimed I got hacked VPN1 Ban #2: <exploitation of economy>1 month ago Claimed I got hacked VPN2 Ban #3: <exploitation of economy>3 weeks ago Claimed I got hacked and that i'd get an authenticator VPN3 Ban #4: <exploitation of economy>2 days ago Claimed I got hacked VPN1 Ban #5: <exploitation of economy>yesterday Claimed I got hacked VPN2 Each case i've used VPN's, and that's enough for them to realize that my vpn keeps changing. And they're relying on some original IP, now as to why i keep getting banned, im pretty sure its because they detect that my bot farms too many ores, im down now from 24hours to 8hours per day, and i probably will still get banned, maybe i should decrease to 4hours? Not sure why they call it exploitation of economy though since my bot's never even goto auctionhouse or chat with anyone.
From my experience, they seem to look at where you registered your account and compare that to the IP's on your account.. that with the mixture of certain proxies being noted as "proxies hackers use." How do I know this? Talked to a CSR guy on the phone when recovering an account one day.. said they saw that I had accepted the email changed on my bnet account from a known hacker's ip (using proxybuster ip) and thats what flagged the guy to start asking me for more information on the account to prove I wasn't the hacker. He said they just noticed that the IP wasnt from tampa, FL where the account was said to be and that it was a known hacker ip.. I also I have some EU accounts that I had to say I lived in sweden to get RAF months, but I use my regular IP from tampa so now and then they decide my account has been compromised and flag it.. I've gotten accounts unbanned 5 times too, just changed my VM and proxy each time.. but on US I could only go a week before getting banned each time and having to change proxy.
I've dodged two bans and got out of my 72 hour suspension 68 hours early by lodging a support ticket and playing dumb... both where for using "hacks".
Ive had the same account get banned and suspended multiple times and have gotten it back every time within an hour. Its hard for Blizz to prove anything so all I do is submit a ticket and deny everything and demand some kind of proof of wrong doing. Has worked every time...so far.
I was actually once ubanned by being honest. Told the account and billing support guy on the phone, that I did bot, I didn't have time with my family of four to play all the stuff I wanted and needed the bot to earn gold so I can run high level end game and not miss it. He STILL unbanned me. Well I say honest. My gf an her breasts = my family of four. Me, her and them. Sure are nice in the phone at blizz.
The phone thing is interesting. I think you have to get on the phone before they close the account though. Seems like once a GM makes a final decision they can't reverse it. I find that lodging a support ticket as quickly as possible is a good first step to getting your account back. I think quickly is the key since waiting is just more proof you're not paying attention and botting.
I've one account banned that i didn't even try to get back. I sold 400k on it, they didn't give me a abuse of economy ban though.. It was a unauthorized access lockout, which they would be glad to lift if i sent in a picture ID. That account i registered as: First Name: Big Last Name: Balls Don't have the photo shop skillz to make a fake ID to send them a copy.
lol. I once had the same issue . Name an account Al Caholic. Phone up billing, explained the name was false, I made it up as I didn't think they'd ever need my I.D. Gave them the cd-key, and had it changed to another generic made up name. Granted, I had to phone twice, the first guy was a dick, the second understood boys will be boys and he helped ^_^.
