Seems to be there's a thread requesting a DK starting area profile every other day. And given this profile isn't provided with newer releases of HB I extracted it from my archive of old releases so everyone can access it. This profile has always worked perfectly, OP i suggest you add to the post to make sure people using this disable ALL ADDONS this profile seems to bug more than others with the use of addons
Just ran a new DK up to 58 with this. Needed some help with a couple of quests where it got stuck. I'd say 95% AFKable. Good enough for me to be using it on all my DKs from here on Thanks!
Running with my first DK (on my new account) now - so far the only one it's had any problems with was "Grand Theft Palomino" where it kept pausing like it was thinking of where to go next once it had mounted the horse. Everyone knows that once you mount up, you have to bolt and not look back... so it got killed. After watching it a couple of times I stopped HB when my toon was corpse running, captured the horse and galloped back and then restarted HB to complete it. Since that point it was working great but I had to stop it to go to class tonight... I'll run it tomorrow morning and let it finish.
the only problem I had with this profile, and it really wasn't eh profile's fault, is the quest where you have to equip the two pokers to find out scarlet information. Well you want Auto equip turned on so you don't wear all greens. and you have to select a weapon type but if you choose dual weild or two hander you'll equip the pokers but equip the two hander all over again. and you can't complete the quest without poking at them. Only way is to disable autoequipped
I have an issue in the profile in the begining when it has to speak with the gryphon raider, but after turning in the quest it is not using the gryphon taxi. What might be the problem?
