Fourth: If I want to make a paladin to farm and make alot of cash, what CC should I choose?

Five: What pluggins should I take to be safe and not get banned

Cata account is a fully licensed account and the cost would depend on the toons that are in it. I looked around and couldn't find one that would have saved me the full cost of a cata account so just bought a vanilla + BC cd-key for about $20 US. A Vanilla account is referring to just the initial Wow game, without even Burning Crusade expansion. You can buy Vanillas for about the same price as you can get the Battle Chest (Vanilla + BC toghether)... but then Wrath and Cata are more expensive.

Where can you buy them cheap? Search the web... I found that prices do vary but only 10-20%... of course, make sure you buy the right realm (US vs EU...)

How do you run so many bots on the same computer? 1) use small windows with low settings, 2) pretty powerful computer with lots of ram and 3) multiple wow and HB licenses of course.

Making a pally, rogue, druid or any other toon to 'make lots of cash' isn't as much the CC (which defines how your toon will play his class) but more the profile you are using and more so the type of botbase (fishing, archeoloogy, questing, grinding, instances, battlegrounds...) None of these will allow you to load up your toon, turn it on and come back later to find him wiht 20,000 more gold than he had before. It all requires some research and reading (here for how to use your bot and your server to determine what sells well) and practice. I started my first night just running archeology buddy cause it was easy to do and allowed me to get started with something simple... then tried new things each day until I figured them out and got better at them. This is not a get your toon rich quickly thing... it takes time for you to learn how to use it effectively.

Your last question goes along with what I said above... you get banned mostly from being reported (from what most people believe). So, that means that grinding the same small area for 5 hours completely AFK is probably not a good idea cause someone could spot you and report that you're a bot. The best thing again is start off with low risk and easy to do (I started with archeology bot - but fishing bot is about the same)... and then do more as you learn how to do more safely.

      Hope this helps...

PS. I feel that I got a pretty quick start overall and haven't had too many 'newbish' problems but I also literally read this forum for more than 25-30 hours over a couple of weeks while I was at work before I decided to buy my bot.

First: mmobay.net, offgamers.com(this one is very trustworthy)
Second: Vanilla means world of warcraft before an expansions came out (bc cata wotlk)
Third: Go into options, set it to windowed 800x600 mode, then double click wow.exe to open a new window
Fourth: just use the CC that comes with HB for now, it works just fine
Fifth: there are way to many plugins that could help to list. Just look through the plugins part of the Hb forum.

The star next to the 'Blog this post' is the rep system here but I'm just glad to have helped...

My son plays a building game and he starting using "Newbie" like it was a curse word and I finally told him to stop. As I said to him, everyone, including him started off as a noob... it's not them that he should be frustrated with... it's those that have been awhile and refused to even try to learn. Even getting angry with them is really a wasted effort of course. Life is too short not to have a little patience when it comes to others and if I allow myself to get frustrated, it really hurts me more than it does them... lol

Welcome to thebuddyforum... hope everything works out for you.

Thanks but I think I can't give rep because I have too less messages.

By the way I have another new question.

Is it possible to buy a Vanilla account and when he is level 70, buying cataclysm and upgrading him to level 85

And by the way, how much cost the expension cataclysm?

If you get the starter pack, which is vanilla + BUrning Crusade you can get to 70. then comes Wrath of the lich king which will allow you to get to 80, then cata will get you 85 max level.
Starter is 40ish, and I believe wotlk is 20 and cataclysm is 30...
Not really sure, just check out offgamers.com
It'll have every key you need, it's cheaper than buying straight from blizzard, and if you get all the expansions, meaning you can go straight to 85 it's only like 70 euros (might be usd now that I think about it)

      Two question about that

      1. If you have Vanilla account can you play with people with Cata expension?

      2. If I buy Vanilla acc, I get to max level, and I buy Cataclysm. Do I lose my guy level and everything?

      1) Yep... doing that with my 2nd account (just recently upgraded to Wrath)
      2) Nope... you just open up new levels (and DKs and then Goblins and Worgens and 81-85...)
