A question

Hey guys, I'm new here(couple of hours) I've just got the trial atm, I'm looking to upgrade but I just want to see if its worth it, so I wanted to ask a couple of questions

What is the best questing bot from 1-85 for horde or the highest i can bot to, because atm the ones i have now are either attacking the wrong things, or just running around in circles which is obviously what i dont want, so i want to find a good bot thats going to bot properly, so i can have a reason to upgrade

You need correct profiles. The bot does not tell whether to attack or not, its about the profiles you use with them.

There are only a couple of profiles for Horde, and those are not fully AFK-able (or I'm not aware of them being), resulting in a more baby sitting for you.
However, you don't have to interrupt things every hour or two, it just gets stuck or bugs out every now and then. If you wish to level a character over night with no chance of failing, you could always use Archaeology or Battlegrounds for it, or even gathering (herbing, mining). Those bots are all included to the version you'd be buying, and the version you are using at the moment (I'm guessing with "trial" you mean the 1-day key, right?). Sure the named things are slower than questing, but there is near to no chance of getting stuck.

Which profiles are you using for questing at the moment? I'd recommend trying this for 1-70, this 70-80. this 80-82, this 82-83, and this 83-85.

Nvm, the bots fine now, I just tried running it again, But it keeps attacking things It's not meant to attack :l

 

Well, posting the log may show Tony what the error is - if its a profile error or something else. Just post the latest log

 

I've got heaps of logs because I was trying all the stuff out, I just deleted them so I'll post back in 10 minutes or so thanks guys

 

Alright there you go, it just sits there using the same spell which stops the npc from moving, i think its called entangle, and yeah..

FPSDruid def has a problem for levels 10 and below. It uses Entagling roots to pull the npc but I guess somewhere it was changed to not actually agro anymore. So it will just spam the spell at the mob until it figures something is wrong and moves on or the mob moves close enough on it's own and agros to you. Up until level 10, I just manually hit Moonfire to initiate the combat once it hit entangling roots. It doesn't take long to hit level 10 and after that FPSWare Druid is really good.

He is working on revamping his druid profile and I'm sure that will be one of the things that will be fixed.

 

So just get to say lvl 15 then try using FPSDruid?

 

Or just use FPSware Druid but watch the action and once he finishes the entangling roots cast, hit moonfire and it will initiate the combat. If memory serves, I only had the problem until level 10 cause then he learned cat form and started using that for dps instead.

You could also use the other CC which is listed (Singular) until you hit 10-15

 

Sorry to bother you guys.. Another question, when I use the quest bot, it only picks up one quest from one of the npcs, say theres two quests in the list it only takes one of them is there a way you can fix this ?

 

When you see a problem like this, look over the info and debug tabs to see which quest you are trying to get, then look it up on Wowhead. Are you talking to the right npc? is there a rep or level requirement? is it part of a quest chain and you actually haven't finished the one before it? Try and finger out what the problem is and fix it.

If you find that it's simply bugged and it's a stand alone quest (not part of a large quest chain to follow it - aka, lots of experience), then write down the # from Wowhead, search for that # in the profile and comment out the lines...

Make sure you put both the beginning and end or you will really mess up the profile... (make a copy of it before you edit it to be safer).

 

I think he was talking about the bot not picking up quests while it could.
Quests which are not picked up are most likely buggy or something, and the profile creator has decided not to put those into the "get quests"-part of the profile, simply because it won't work. Might also be forgotten or something else.
