Hi everyone I was seeing how was the gold selling sistem and i realised that it's a bit complicated that sometimes you deliver the gold without being paid and blizzard can easly track you down that i decided to sell accounts instead ( Since i've no problems bringing accounts to 80 because HB runs very good for me Thanks btw ^^ ) ... Ok here are the questions, and they all go in the way of maximizing my profit, ( less time wasted, more money earned ) 1) How many characters should i have per account? 2) What kind/tier/sets of equip should i have in each char? 3) Where to sell my wow accounts? 4) How can i give a value to the accounts? 5) What chars are most wanted? 6) Is anyone doing this, if so..any advices? Thanks guys
Its up to you how many characters you want to put on the account. Obviously the more level 80 characters you have, the more the account will be worth (in my opinion). Now, if you're willing to get the characters gear, and spending time to gear everyone up then obviously the value of the account will increase because the buyer wont have to spend his/her time gearing up the characters. There are a number of places to sell your WoW accounts. There are many sites that will buy your account, but you are required to know all info to that account (ie secret Q and A etc). Ive never used a site to sell an account, i've just stuck to things like craiglist etc. As for chars most wanted .. uuuh i dont know, it all depends on what the buyer is interested in. Id say bot classes like Druids or Pally's cause they can tank/heal/dps. Hope that helped a little.
You need to do a bit of research, just google wow accounts for sale. Visit some sites and see what the accounts include for the price. Also check out player auction sites and see what the prices are there for the level 80's. After doing that then you can decide which classes are the best to level for selling. Also look for the Rare class/race/gender,there may not be a lot of blood elf warlocks or rogues, it all takes a bit of research. I haven't checked lately but in the past the better the gear on a toon the more it cost. That may not be the case now. Keep it simple the email for the account on a common carrier, like gmail or yahoo , because once you sell it the customer may need access to the email in order to change it or reclaim the account should something happen. Hope that helps, if not just shoot me a pm.
Thanks Morga and Xploit Now i just need to find one of those selling/trade good forums.. i remember back in my days it was wowtrade.org but a friend told me that it's broken now
try playerauctions get paid through them, its a bit safer and leaves you in control rather than a middle man.
Playerauctions is nothing but a scam, go here: http://vbforums.mmobay.net/ Much better, multiple 80's don't really increase the accounts value anymore unless you plan on selling to a farmer, It's all about gear and rare mounts with achievements. You have to rely on commonsense to route out scammers and research. mmobay has tons of threads on how to safely sell. I've been in the buy and sell accounts for more than two years now, so I'd like to think I know .
Nice idea that I allready head some weeks ago. But I have one or two more ideas to get me more money for one account without equiping it much^^
And thats exacly what I meant. Read it again and use brain this time. You need an account to bot them on, unless THAT account (vanilla/bc/wotk) is very cheap you will hardly make a profit.
I've used MMOBay for a few years now, and they are quite good. I have been scammed once (recalled account very easily), also found the guys address and phone number. Turned out he stole his mum's CC to buy the account, then his mum did a charge-back through her bank. Decided to call Missouri from Australia one night and speak to the mother. It was quite a funny conversation. I think his computer was taken away from him for a VERY long time. MMOBay I can recommend - you are the man, it's as its name suggests. Ebay for MMO Accounts etc.
That is a blatant lie, obviously you've never sold through them. I have an account there and I've sold around 50+ accounts there, THEY ARE NOT a scam do not listen to what he says. They have had the smoothest transactions and the safest system to sell.
