Is pvpbot safer for BG? Does it select random hotspots? I've heard that using pvp bot + woot's profiles is way better... I also heard about another plugin "Autopresicion", which prevents the loops and stops between the hotspots... I've been thinking that i should change to pvp bot... This past weekend, AV was a "ban beacon", i did AV the whole weekend, and there were LOTS of bots... like 10 people running one on top of the other, making the exact same movements, stopping at the exact same places, mounting and un-mounting at the exact same points... Too risky for my taste.
safe or fucking not I was running X- CC not naming and it was good enough for me and i was impressed.... My jaw is dropping I want to ask my bot HOW IS YOU HEALING SO GOOD, GJ writting this /modding it I just have quam i run this with squire but i would love to See a priority running to healing towards AidStation(for horde) or relief hut (for you cup cake loving alliance) I would love to donate to you
What happened to BG Bot? I used it to gear several toons in the past but when I tried to BG bot today, he acted really really bad... riding in circles for 30 seconds, then the bot targets something and dismounts... and does nothing. just stands still. Any ideas?
The only way to go is lazyraider and a good pvp CC. HB isn't getting much love at the moment.... Think they're giving RIFT more time at the moment and just fix the critical stuff in HB. Not saying it IS so but it certainly feels like that
Then why is the current version of HB worse than previous versions? Anyways, I've used the BG bot to get over 200k honor on my frost DK and 120k on my ret pally.
cause when you are updating some things or you are adding new features to the core some things may bug
is the bg bot or pvp bot (seem more or less identical to me in the long term other than diff hotspots) ever going to get an update? would be awesome to see them working good again, and not just running in circles
we will have some fixes on Bgbot PvPbot works as it should considering that its a running around an killing stuff bot mode
One of the main problems with BG Bot is the popularity of it - so you end up with multiple toons running the same EXACT route until they run into somthing to kill. Then they would revert to the same pattern - which if there are multiple toons in the same BG, they would form a conga line and hit the same turns. IF there was some randomness built in - run towards this hotspot - with a randomess of 5-10 yards (the amount could be defined by the location of course) then it would very similar to the way things work now when you have a group riding together towards a location... riding in a group with small deviations in the pathing. When you have 3-4 bots in the same battle group running in a conga line, even human-like behavior is quickly revealed as a series of bots. Without some randomness built in, we can be spotted and reported any time there is more than 1 HB bot running that BG. With randomness built in, not only can BGs be vastly improved, but that same 'variable hotspot location' could be incorporated into existing and future HB profiles so that even if multiple toons just happened to be running the same Uldum or Hy'jal profile, they wouldn't be following the same exact path. *Edit* of course, this is post isn't dealing with some of the singularly blatent "I'm a bot!!" actions... like taking a portal when the gate is open. Hopefully those will be fixed like the prep-time of EoTS was.
The random clicking is a good idea, it's what RS bots use no matter what they're clicking, whether it be an item or a spot to run.
ive BG botted on 3 different toons also, and got every single peice of honor gear off botting. i even left my bot on for 3 days straight, sleeping and everything. still, not one problem. Blizz only really cares about questing/grinding bots.
Botting is never safe, eventually you will get caught... even if you bot 1 hour a week it might take a while but one day blizzard will grab you!
Got some friends who's only running BG bot that queue's and press spells and they've done it for like a half year... So a more advanced bot shouldn't be so very risky.
