Having this problem as well. When the mob goes underground the bot just stares at the ground where the mob was. Doesn't move.
This was on my warrior. After he bullrushes. the mob walks backs and goes underground. When im playing "legit" this will never happen sense after the bullrun i never move. like the bot does.
They are bugged mobs. Whether or not you use a bot doesn't matter - they sink into the ground. "Warning: Shadetouched Alpha is a bugged target." The bot engaged the target, saw it was bugged, moved until the mob came back onto the terrain and then killed it. If there is a better way to deal with a bugged mob, let me know
When im on my ranger i never have problems with bugged mobs only on my warrior. i will try and take away the bullrush soul and make it run to the mob and c if that happens.. on a side not its impossible too bot 10+ i guess 19 becouse of the amount of bugged mobs. If you pull 2 of em and one bugs out it will stand there like a idiot becouse it lost the target of the bugged mob.
30mobs later and not a singel bugged mob. insted of one every 3kills. So remove champion works. I i get a cookie point becouse i was right.
That is a real pain and I am working on a fix for it now. You are mistaken about the Champion thing. Its every bit as bad for Clerics who walk up to their targets.
well when i removed the champion soul. There havent bin a singel bugged mob after it. I do not know anything about programing but im pretty sure its the bull rush that bugs the mob. in case of the warrior that is. But then again i could be very much wrong. But everthing is pointing at that direction. Sense ive watch it 100 of times getting buged by the bull rush. if you could remove the bull rush from the list and give me that ill gladly try it out. and report back.
While I am running a warrior, I cant prove you wrong. But I have certainly noticed mobs going under the world while playing my rogue normally. Also, I think it depends on where you are mostly. When I was in freemarch killing wolves and boars, I would say 25% of the mobs go under the world. Now I am in stonefeild, and I notice it every hour or so. But yes, the real problem seems to be when you get 2 mobs, and 1 goes under the world.
I'm running a cleric and have this same issue. Log attached, and a possible solution that could be implemented (it was the marchwolf / shadetouched alpha mobs that I noticed falling through the earth). I find if I manually take a step back after the mob bugged, it pops back up out of the ground and I can continue to kill it. Can that be coded into the cleric routine for bugged mobs (if bugged, take 2 steps back and check again before flagging as bugged and moving on)? //edit below I've noticed that the mobs seem to fall underground when they have to back up because I'm right on top of them, I haven't seen it happen yet to a mob that doesn't have to back up due to too-close range, only the ones that I end up standing right on top of (as opposed to a little away from them, being the normal distance).
