https://www.riftgame.com/en/products/ Its on sale for $24.99 for the weekend, good timing on their behalf. Time for me to grab another copy I think. They're calling it a father's day sale... more like ban-day sale.. sigh Still, for that price I might snag two, level the 2nd one when the bot is out again and sell the account to cover the cost of both of new accounts. No real loss that way.
I hate this company so much now. Thankfully I didn't rush out to re-purchase when the ban came. Course I could give them the same fuck you they gave us and just buy a cheap account =P. One more way to shove this ban up their collective asses.
Meh ill stick to WoW was making double the money anyways and this Trion seems hellbent on smashing every damn bot went from Macrogoblin to ryfto both shitcanned fast.
Fuck Trion, I lost 4 50's they can rot in the fucking darkest pits of hell for all I care. This is just the next spit in your face. Don't support this bullshit "Father's Day" ban sale.
they all say "yeah it was just a shitty game bla bla bla go back to wow" and let's see i give them a few weeks and they are back and botting with rift XD
Lol i find it so funny that people can hate a company cause they got caught cheating and lost their account. You knew the risk when you botted, you cheated you paid the price. I like the company for that, sometimes its good to know a company cares about its player base enough to try and keep botters away, unlike wow who Cheers its 10 Millions customers because they let botters run wild and do as they please. I bought the rift account I was using, used the bot to level the mage it had from 32-50 and leveled 2 crafter to 300. I lost the account due to that botting and cheating, tis my fault, not Trions Fault that I chose to bot. I lost a level 50 and 2 crafters along with my 200 Plat, but oh well I just start over and now have to play manually.
I dont think they ban people because they so called "care" about its player base. They ban botters because they know botters will buy more accounts to bot on so they can make more money.
Thats possible but not for sure true, they really cant know that yet the game is still a bit knew and I am sure they can see too that this game doesnt have the selling economy of wow. $12 for 100 P thats a joke. They may have banned to get more money out of it, but it may also be to protect the game, I tend to believe it to be a mix of both, while I have nothing against botters they do hurt game economy. And either way that doesnt change the fact of people getting all upset and cursing a company for protecting what the EULA says no matter what their reasons are.
