So, I'm new to the farming/gold selling thing, and ive been kinda screwed around a few times now by people, paying wtih paypal and then claiming the transaction afterwards, unauthorized etc etc. Leaving me empty handed. What can i do to avoid this? is there any fail safe to prevent people from pulling shit like this?

Yeah never use PayPal for this as unless its a "gift" transaction they will claim it back.

In order to use paypal efficiently and avoid the callbacks a few things needs to happen.

      1. User must originate the purchase trough a URL (create a link, give to them. Once paid, deliver)
      2. The order must state is digital goods (downloads)
      3. Verify the order (email or like many do a call)

And you won't be scam again.

      Good luck

usually u can find buyers from the gold market forums like piroxbots ( but it is down now ) , select the buyer who has high reputation and many good feedbacks , that will be more trustful , if our forum also has the part about gold market , that will be more convenient , lol , just my opinion :)

I agree with Giwin on this one. Paypal Gift does not protect you,

Should of stated before I don't use Paypal at all anymore after a very big disagreement with them back in 2008 over a dispute, I find them to be arrogant, useless and crap.
I'd rather scoop my eyeballs out and get my balls sat on by a elephant than use them for internet money transfers.

if they scam you, go to their website and buy the gold back.

Then call your bank and get the money back once you get the gold. after that call them all the names under the sun in live chat.

Yea i sold Citizen 3 accounts back in March on Pirox forums, he got one banned a few times. He would call me all the time to reinstate it for him. The other 2 where fine.
Ended up getting all 3 banned, I tried to get them back but selling gold is a no no and Blizzard wouldn't budge.

After a few days he tried to do a chargeback on Paypal for the $600 he lost, but then called his bank and made up some bs lie and got his money back.

Watch for that guy i am sure he will be here in january if he isn't already.

Never again will I use Paypal to sell things

What if you receive a transaction by Paypal, and instantly transfer the money to a different Paypal account. Then the buyer cant open a dispute for the transaction since you dont have his money anymore on your paypal account right?

I've been looking at Skrill (moneybookers) bc they have a much better fraud policy, don't work with Blizzard, and Kick recommends them over PP. If someone has an acct there, am I better to open a business acct (some fake business or something) to protect gold payments being called back or does a regular acct have the same protection? I haven't sold any gold ever but I still want to get an acct over there.

You can try and open a business but you will be considered high risk.
