So, im looking for a guild lvl 25 on illidan - and having issues because people don't wanna give me GM before i give them gold, trust issues ya know. So, to all those ho buy and sell guilds, how do you do it without getting scammed?
Message the terms via wsp... the previous owner of the guild I was about to buy asked how he knew I wouldn't scam him... I told him that we had the terms in chat and that if he tried that I would simply contact a GM and that would be the end of that. He invited me into the guild, I opened up the trade window and gave him the 25k gold (the agreed price for the lvl 16 guild), we concluded the trade and he made me GM of the guild. simple. If you are afraid of getting scammed: 1) make sure the terms are clearly laid in in chat... /w's are fine... before you get to him, remind him that the terms are in the trade chat so once you've paid him, you expect him to hold up his side of the bargain. That's what worked for me... let us know if it works for you...
Ive done the same for a few alt guilds, always repeat the terms a few times and get them to agree/say yes to them in chat.
Off topic (kinda): is there a market for guilds, I imagine there would be for botters because of the perks, but I haven't been able to find a site that has a sub forum for people selling guilds.
Prices hugely vary between servers but looks like anything from 50k to 200k as the highest I've seen.
Someone in the IRC chat channel said 250k was about standard, but without a visible market who knows.
It only takes being friendly with a guild to use mobile banking and that's only 3k rep so maybe a couple days of dailies should get you there.
