Does anyone know the amount of gold transfered between accounts (I.E. two lvl 1s) that triggers the guardian program that Blizzard uses? I know for example that a 20Kg transaction didn't trigger a ban, but a 100Kg transaction in two 50Kg trades did. Incedentally it also triggered a ban on my "hub" account. Ouch! Share if you would what amounts you have traded safely. Perhaps we can figure out where Blizzard notices. Lumi
I wish I would have read this earlier. Yesterday, I mailed a large amount of gold between two accounts I own, and was banned within an hour for "exchanging gold for real world currency". I don't buy or sell gold, so I appealed and explained I owned both accounts and it was restored quickly. So I guess Blizz just instantly bans any account that transfer gold using email where the amount is greater than X. In my case, the amount was well over 100k.
yeap guild bank still can get banned...i tried one way before...get a lv1 classic new account get into ur guild bank and promote him to guild leader...let him withdraw everything from your guild bank and then quit guild...after 2 hours open a report that u got hacked...
Oh, didn't know that... For example, I have 150k on my bank char and want to send on my main char (which locates on the same account as bank char) via mail. Will it trigger something in theory? I know, it shouldn't but maybe ppl had issues with, i dunno.
I've traded in excess of 200,000 face-to-face between unrelated battle.net accounts... however, both toons involved were max level, and had been on friends lists for years. i wouldnt try the same thing transferring to a level 1 on a brand new account.
