Hello everyone, I just found about Honorbuddy today. Actually last night, and I spent most of the night reading the forums here. I gave the HB trial a go and really liked it but I have a rather simple question. As a total noob to the botting idea I have no clue on how to properly "bot". No, I don't need help setting up the tool and all that. It's more of a "etiquette". How long should I leave the bot running? What should I not do? Is there a time that I should avoid botting, let's say peak server times? Any tips for a newbie are also appreciated. Thanks
Welcome Hi, First off, Welcome =D The bots amazing once you get started.. The most easiest class to bot is a paladin. Due to the Amount of Survivability. -- I'll ask this anyway.. even though you said you know how to set it up. You May not know this. Have you downloaded & imported a CC from the forums into your Honorbuddy Folder? if not, Then head over to the Honorbuddy CC (Custom Class) Section on the forums. Also for your questions asking " How long you should bot for " etc etc Usually bot from 20:00 (8PM) -> 11AM Or around there usually 12xHours. Here's a good guide i have for you which i fount for newbies. http://www.buddyforum.de/showthread.php?99-Guide-to-not-be-on-the-Target-(Bans)-by-Tony Take Care! Happy Botting
The best advice I can give you is: Don't bot with an account that you care about! Other then that, try to avoid too crowded areas, don't let the bot work more than 7-8 hours on the same spot, avoid getting stuck. The best bet would be that you make your own profile, which ist mostlikely so safest! Happy botting
Thanks for the tips. I actually did check that thread and I also downloaded the druid cc, thought I'd go with a druid since I already have a rogue, warrior, paladin at 80. Now I just need to figure out what's up with the profile it was mentioned. From what I saw people make their own, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do that just yet.
