This is a little primitive, but effective. Go to Hoth, then move to cords -915,167. You dont have to be high level, just avoid mobs. When you get there, you will find a chest. It gives you 3k-4k credits, some green boe and medpacks. It respawns every 20 minutes. If you use Autohotkeys, here is a script that will rightclick every 10 seconds. Just enable auto-loot and place your mouse where the box spawns. ? I try to move to the coords on teh map, and I waited for quite some time, but I do not see any chest appearing. Can anyone confirm that this still works?
Make sure you are looking at the hoth map and not a subregion map. You should be on top of a hill with a frozen dead body near you. I tried to log on to check it b/c my character is still there, but someone was standing there farming it.
You are just below the spot. I just logged on and did not see it there. When I logged on yesterday, I saw another player standing there. I can see how this is exploiting the game, but I feel banning people for farming chests is wrong. It was really careless of the bioware people to make these chests so easily accessible. Rather than banning people, they should just take responsibility and put some mobs around the chests.
Just logged on, I can confirm the chest is still there! Make sure you guys go to the top of the mountain. if you look up and still see mountain, bound around and keep climbing. I was able to look down and see you position.
If possible, can you post a screnshot, or the actul coords? The coords give hve been check by bth someone in this threat who posted a screenshot, myself, and a slew of people who have been helping me locate this. Its simply not at the coords provided I dont think. I'm literally standing right on top of those cords, and theres nothing here whatsoever, just as a revious poster mentioned. I appreciate your work, Id just like to see other people get some use out of this before they fix it!
