Charge -> Rend is your basic opener. Mortal Strike will take care of keeping Rend up through the Lambs to the Slaughter talent. After which: Colossus Smash > Mortal Strike > Overpower > Slam Colossus Smash procs through Sudden Death should be used to maximize up-time, you do not want to clip the duration of CS. If you have CS up and Sudden Death procs, wait till your current CS drops and then refresh it. Slam should be used when the other options on your priority are on CD, however if you have less than 1 second more Mortal Strike to become available, you wait and use Mortal Strike rather than Slam. Heroic Strike should only be used when you have 70+ rage, during Deadly Calm or on Battle Trance procs.
It seems like he has everything figured out Why dont you make your own Custom Class, Stree. As you have so much to say about what i could/should do in all of my threads, surely you can do better?
Where in my post does it say "HEY YOU NEED TO CHANGE TO THIS" or "THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE".. Oh thats right, nowhere! I never said anything should be changed. Don't put words into my mouth, yet alone send me a rude ass PM about it. There was another rotation posted last page and there was talks of lambs, so I posted this for others to see exactly what was being talked about and how it changed things as opposed to not having lambs and how the priority would change... Not everyone who uses HB keeps up on rotations or why things are done certain ways. Don't have to be an ass about it just because i posted a rotation for those who don't take the time to go out looking for such things. PS: If i had thought there was any issues with the CC or any of your CC's, why would I have +repped you on several of them over the last few days?
Ran this for a while to test (20 min target dummy sessions). Very glad to see a new PvE Arms contender, although there is room for improvement, but it is still young! Titan Arms 1.2 stance dancing: 16200 dps EzArms 1.0.0 battlestance: 21500 dps both with the same build, no aoe, no cooldowns. Main difference between the two is that EzArms uses Slam (almost 20% of total damage done, about equal with Overpower) but stays in Battlestance, where TitanArms doesn't use Slam at all (not a single cast in 19 min, maybe a bug?) I'll post some recount screenshots later on, doing LFR with this CC at the moment.
singular, does more dmg where this gave me 16-17k dps on a dummy, singular did 27k dps. I'm assuming this is thus the slams it's missing or so since its a lot of dmg. Besides that I can't really suggest since I haven't played arms properly.
EzArms 1.0.0 (no cooldowns except for Blood Fury which I added) - 18199.4 DPS TitanArms unmodified (no cooldowns except for Blood Fury) - 16172.3 DPS TitanArms slightly modified by me (no cooldowns except for Blood Fury) - 18291.8 DPS roughly measured the sample size by rend ticks, probably too small (around 10 min each?), not perfect but close enough. trying singular svn next! ezarms seems to be better at using colossus strikes (has its own rotation for it and times the cooldowns/trinkets to use during CS), so it has better burst (but that shouldn't matter that much for PvE). will make a new run tomorrow with all cooldowns enabled, but that should be hard since this CC doesn't support trinkets yet. singular svn 494 configured for same settings (no damage cooldowns, no aoe) no stancedance singular svn 494 configured for same settings (no damage cooldowns, no aoe) with stancedance tomorrow, raid got in the way and reset my recount, but it was around 19200.
Are you sure that EzArms doesnt use any cooldowns? When i test out that profile it uses Deadly calm from what i can see! Anyway, I'll upload an update soon i just got done with the coding. I've removed the stance dance as it seems to decrease damage output the way its coded atm. I've added slam to a higher priority and tested it up against EzArms PvP profile. Please be aware that my Warrior has very low ilevel and that stats and gear differ. This may not be the results you will get. 3 million damage @ a level 70 training dummy - 16600 dps EzArms v1.0.0 3 million damage @ a level 70 training dummy - 17500 dps Titan Arms v1.3 Ive also edited deadly calm code abit. So please give feedback about the update! -Shaddar.
I'll try (later on) implementing use of trinkets through Code: Lua.DoString("RunMacroText('/use 13');"); Lua.DoString("RunMacroText('/use 14');"); and see if that works.
Yes, because I removed it from the CC manually (deleted the entries in the CD line). //edit: sorry, I just saw that you were talking about my old numbers. Yes, those used cooldowns so the 21500 dps figure I have mentioned is incorrect! I just did a brief test with Singular svn 494 and stancedancing enabled, it seems to work well now that I have restarted HB after changing the setting. Did almost 21000 dps without cooldowns, but that might have been a fluke since I didn't leave it running long enough. It does seem to spam the stances a lot less than Titan. Will do some more testing tomorrow, including your new version! I should also mention that the TitanArms unmodified test was quite unlucky with Mortalstrike crits as you can tell, I suppose the sample size is just too small.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, the current "Stance Dance" code was causing a DPS drop. So it's been temporarily removed and the rotation/priority has been altered. I recommend you use v1.3 instead off 1.2.
am i the only one who does 30k dps with stance dancing then? but my overpower is better prioritized than this 1.2 edition. you guys also have to realize you cant just switch specs n test this in reforged for fury gear... you test you must test in pure reforges for Arms n best 2h you have. im ilvl 388 pulling 30-36k on ultra - 45k on Warlord. with the very basics being used in this CC. - What training dummy used this on Peanut?
I agree, well atleast if you're TG Fury. Although its not as important to reforge/gem all over again if you're SMF fury considering that Arms and SMF warriors focus 90% of the same stats. The only difference between SMF and Arms is the lowest stat priority on both of them (Mastery and Haste). SMF has to focus haste -> mastery while Arms has to focus mastery -> haste. However if your originally enchanted, reforged and gemmed as a TG fury you should get everything right before testing out ANY arms CC in general. @ Daorigin. I'm very happy the CC works out well for you! However i am still trying to find a "smarter" code to make the Stance Dancing more efficient And to everyone else out there, dont be too quick to judge! Dummies always give false numbers, and that is a proven fact.
Is 1.3 currently focusing on staying in Battle Stance or just going full out zerker like a previous post had suggested?
