So how many came from pirox since closed?

Hey guys just wondering how many of us come from pirox since the recent news im here since that and im like wow that i didnt come here erlier loving it to date

 

+1 here, coming from Pirox.

HB is a different beast. It has its pros and cons vs. pirox and everyone has a preference. HB (for the most part) 'just works'. If you want customization, you are kinda left out in the cold, if you aren't a developer. For 90% of users, that's okay by them since they just want to click a button and run it.

When I first came over I was VERY confused about setting up the bot...because there wasn't really anything to setup. It literally just 'worked'.

As slook said, you do need a plugin to make it 'more powerful', but I think this cuts down on the bloat and footprint of the bot, allowing the devs to focus on core functionality (update/fix things faster) and letting others take the lead developing additional functionality. If it was more comprehensive, you'd have more down time between patches (see Pirox) and ppl would complain. So it's a catch 22.

It would be nice if there was a more comprehensive wiki to describe the preferred plugins to use for certain tasks and in an ideal world, each class would have an up to date CC for each spec (for both PvE and PvP)...but it is what it is.

I personally, won't (overly) complain, since i only had to pay a ONE time fee and the bot works for the majority of my needs. Expecting it to be Pirox or any other bot (and to work accordingly) is asking for disappointment. It has its place and its popularity speaks to that.

I completely agree what ambrose said about being WILDLY confused about how to "set up" HB. (Hint: You don't)

I really like the questing functionality (never used Pirox for anything besides farming).

A basic wiki would be lovely. I'd even help create it (who better to know what a noob needs/wants then a noob?)
The basic understandings of what a CC and what a Profile actually are would have helped me out prior as well.

There is...but it's very sparse. And half the pages I can't view b/c it says I'm trying to edit them (which I'm not).

 

Good to see im not alone here from pirox and i must say ambrose your right i loved it when i first started it and i didnt spend like 20-30 mins setting macros and keybindings loving it aye lol

 

time to make those 80 to 85 profiles more afkable kick.........

After some time checking threads & co i'm really in love with HB.. it runs soooo smooth... the only thing i miss is the info page while HB is running... xp/h, nodes collected/missed, deaths etc... for GB2 you need the click and click and click... thats a lil bit annoying...

Fro Pirox as well, my only complaint is that they didn't build in a way to use specific items at times interval. there is a flask addon but it would be awesome to be able to specify buff food along with regular food and to be able to use potions ect at lower levels to mazimize stats ect while grinding. expecially since some expire in 30 minutes but most in an hour. kinda like most of the fishing addons you can specify what lure to attach ect would be nice in the setting tab to have a spot to say use this item every 30 minutes or this item every hour with 3 or 4 lines for people that use multiple items and then have it check if the buff is active if you die and if not re-apply them/ re-eat the buff food.

That is my only complaint and if i had a clue about programing i would make something like that, but alas i am a programming ileterate! if someone would be willing to write something like this as a plugin i would gladly support them and try and compensate for the time involed. Even integrate it into the cc profiles like rogue with the poison options.
