Quest bot looped on finishing a quest

So sometimes when i run Quest bot when it goes to turn in a quest it will not complete it

It just loops

talk>continue>then closes it and does again it doesn't complete the quest

Is there something im doing wrong or is it the bot?

im using kicks profiles

I get this quite often as well using Kick's profile. His profiles are extremely good but, you got to babysit them. I've used the entire profile from 1-85. The 80-85 part is buggy in some places... and the 1-58 and 58-70 is buggy. What I usually do is turn in the quest and then the bot advances from there.

 

Can have something to do with high latency.

It's a core HB issue, not Kicks profiles.

 

Okay so the last 3 quests it tried to turn in kept looping and i had to do myself so here it is.

Yeah I get this issue, it's about to hand in the quest but then it doesn't. My latency is usually around 250.

 

i have to ask the obvious question ...

is the quest completed? it's just having issues pressing the complete quest button?

 

Yer the quest is completed just has problems clicking complete button and some times choosing a reward aswell

 

Does it have go talk to npc, click some dialog, and then the complete quest button appears on that next window?

That's the only ones I've ever had problems with.

 

That is the issue I'm seeing across multiple questgivers / quests. I nudge it along when I can, though.

I know addons are not supported when using the bot, but I've installed TurnInEverything and had some level of success with it. YMMV, so if you decide to install it, don't ask me or anyone else for help.

 

Did you ever discover a resolution for this? I'm encountering the issue where the bot will now open the Merchant window if the particular quest giver is also a merchant. Hard to believe no one else is a problem, given that I haven't too many changes from the default settings - have you?

 

The selecting of the Quest-Giver side of the NPC chat is not what I had in mind.
My plugin will 99% be coded to monitor the POI/Objective, and if it does the same thing with the same npc too many times, it will hit stop and start in HB since that fixes the problem about 95% of the time for me.

 

Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were referring to your specific plugin.
I imagine the issue is specifically limited to QuestBuddy core functionality.



The issue that I'm encountering seems to be that the bot clicks on the white chat bubble rather than the quest turn in, as seen in the link below, and also the hours of repeated clicking in the log.


Edit: Also, for the record, my latency is 40ms.

And yes, Questing botbase should already be being looked at.
I'm not sure, but I believe kick said someone was looking into how it does quest turnins.

 

same problem here.. quest is completed, just need to click on complete manually... i need to babysit , how can i solve this ?
The only addon i use is BADBOY, my latency is around 250.
