[Auto Angler] TWHL Guppy and Sagefish Pools [N]

Hey there!

This profile is built around the new changes in Twilight Highlands. In case you are unaware, Blizzard decided to change the coastal fishing pools in the area and get rid of the trash fish Algaefin Rockfish and replace those pools with the once rare Deepsea Sagefish. Only recently did I discover while trying to farm the Highland Guppy for Seafood Magnifique Feast that they are linked to the coastal fishing pools as well. So i created this profile to fish up both fish so that you bot doesnt fly around the lake endlessly with no pools to fish (trust me i did this for hours and couldnt figure out why...). I did not add the pools by the Ruby Dragons because i felt that they were too out of the way as well as the others north of the river. But per request I have added the Lava pools in the Twilight Area to fish for Volatile Fire, its just about 3-5 hot spots extra and it isn't out of the way of the general path. You will notice that the pathing may be different than what the previous version was. For example at the Lake you will go to the edge, maybe fish 2 spots then circle the little island in the middle and continue on your way around to circle the lake then head down the river. Don't be alarmed if this looks weird it was intended. In the new XML version you will notice that all of the sections of fishing pools are marked with comments for convenience. In addition to this I have made a separate profile specifically for those who may want to fish the Sagefish only. Honestly I would just fish both but I figured it wouldnt hurt to make a separate one.

Also i suggest you set the pathing type in auto angler to CIRCLE and not bounce!

Requirements: AUTO ANGLER bot base which is located HERE

Does NOT have a vendor or mailbox attached to it because this is a NEUTRAL fishing profile and the hot spots do NOT take you around either faction's base.

Love What you did- i think its great but i have a bug, here are 2 log files 1 shaman ( shamwow cc) 2 is rogue (fpsware cc) the bug i encountered is the bot will land cast 1 time the second bobber lands it mounts and flies off then comes back 2-3 times before draining the pool of fish. if your a sham it random ghostwolfs while casting( i even tried turning it off, still didnt help on the cc.)

for the rogue after 15mins it decided to fly up and up in circles till it hit the sky boundry. then it would fly down 10ft and do it again and again. anyhelp would be awesome since these 2 fish sell the best on my server.

Sorry i didnt see this any sooner. Honestly I wouldnt be able to tell you what is happening. Im just doing this with the Singular CC and nothing else is special about it. Everything is default, i wish i could help more ><.

 

Currently testing, found a couple spots where the bot gets stuck behind a pillar or something and I had to manually move adjust it.

wow thats really odd, were you in the correct zone? were you using Auto Angler? I honestly cant help much otherwise as i have never come across such issues

 

works great but about 10 min in i just fly in circles for long time not sure what its doing always near the lake.

 

thats very interesting try restarting the bot and reloading the profile. Ive only had this happen to me once but i was also in the wrong area when i started the incorrect profile.

 

So far so good, great stuff, first profile for honorbuddy after pirox died, seems better than pirox pool fishing

 

yes i know exactly what you mean. I honestly loved pirox once i figured it out and hated HB when i first switched. Aside from the differences in the bots actions and sometimes how much more it can get stuck i can honestly say HB is superior overall.

 

I got honorbuddy , but dont know hot to use this profile .Is it maybe for some other type of profily as I used gatherbuddy2 and then loaded the profile , but its only moving around the nodes and doesnt stop to fish.Could someone be kind enough to explain how to get it working , please? Thanks !

 

If you read the first post again you'll see that you need the Auto Angler bot base which you can download by searching the forum with instructions on how to install it. After that the rest should be much easier

Run 2,5 hours without any Problems...
The only thing: sometimes he will fly only a few meters above ground - this looks a bit strange...

 

yes thats partially my fault because of where i had been sitting to gather the hot spots for the pools. This was my first attempt at writing a profile so i made a minor mistake

 

For me it is occasionally flying in circles to the ceiling then once there it takes a little bit then flies down and continues fishing again. So far out of running it 15m or so it has done it twice. Once by the lake and this last time as soon as it got to the waterfall. Also if you are a priest standing on land it will still cast levitate. Is there any way to have it only cast levitate if it is unable to cast due to being in water?

 

The random flying to the top of the sky and then back down again I can't explain why thats happening I've only seen it happen to me once and I immediately turned the bot off and restarted it and havent had it happen since. As for the levitate that would be something to change in either your CC or in Auto Angler because the profile itself only contains hotspots for where to fish and nothing else. So I'm not 100% on where the issues may be. Sorry I cant be of more help I'm only good at writing profiles (fishing and herbs and some grind areas )

 

ok guys ive got more feedback- but 1st off, THIS PROFILE IS AMAZING! im doing this on my feral druid now with the CC durid. next to no problems. get the occasional stuck point thats all, mainly the horde ships. ( caught in the sail lines*)

i have issue's still on my shaman using shamwow and my rogue using trixter and fpsware's cc. from ym guess its cc related but i cant confirm. my solution was just swapping toons. + druid fish botting is fast w/o 3 mount cast time =)

** but my main reason for coming here again was to hopefully get mr.srs to add in the route to the fire pool area just a little ways away form the guppy lake. it would take away maybe 3mins from the overall route but add in profits and 3-5 more pools to help spawn elsewhere on the map. + the fire guys are easy to kill. now the lava isnt considered real water since it is too shallow , so cordinates would have to be on the edge of the rocks. plz let me know what you think mate and this is a great work. i hated rockfin fish they used to have here.
