make sure that you have all the latest Microsoft Service packs and updates about your OS

and once everything is done make a new Hb installation from scratch and try again

It'd told me to use Control Panel -> Turn on/off Windows Features. So, I did, and I chose "Non HTTP Activation". I'm not sure if that was what I should've done, but I tried it, restarted PC, and it hadn't worked. HB Still wasn't opening.

I've tried to install these updates thru Windows Update:
      1. Update for the .NET Framework 4 (KB2468871)
      2. Update for the .NET Framework 4 (KB2533523)
And it had said, "Some updates were not installed. - 2 Updates Failed."
      " 8 results for "WindowsUpdate_00000643" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

i tried to system restore to 1/19/2012 but, it said it failed, I believe, because of .net framework files missing.
