      hi...so just a few minutes ago HB popped up that it had an update available...after it updated and extracted the files, it told me they changes would take effect next time i restarted HB...so i closed it down and restarted...after i logged in i got this error:
      Logging in...

      Error attaching Honorbuddy to WoW! - System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
      at Styx.WoWInternals.ObjectManager.Initialize(Memory blackmagic)
      at Honorbuddy.MainWindow.#TUc()
      -------------------------------
      You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to!
      Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with!
      This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #15050
      You are currently on build #15050

      i shut down wow and restarted my pc...after it rebooted i started up wow again, logged on and went back to where i was grinding...started up HB, logged on and got this error again..any help would be greatly appreciated...ty

      I had the same thing and fixed it.. But you might not have done the same thing I did.. my old install i had Changed honorbuddy.exe to another file name to "hide" it.. i went into my folder and there was a new Honorbuddy.exe and xml file along with my "renamed" one.. i used the new one and it worked again. see if that is the case

      Was just about to log in and say the same thing. the updater replaces Honorbuddy.exe, but people SHOULD RENAME IT SO THEY REDUCE CHANCES OF GETTING DETECTED so in actuality this should be a problem for everyone ;)

      This was exactly the case...as soon as i saw ur post on the release comments and saw ur revision on how u fixed it i immediately knew this was the problem...glad u caught it...thanks +rep
