Yep - i got also banned 2 accounts and used only Pirox Earlier and now HB without any other programs.
So the theory with checking the PC by GM is quite good.

Ahem. That done, allow me to further clarify. Bossland isn't saying that all recent bannings are because of sn0wball, he's saying that if you were using sn0wball in addition to your use of HB, you were banned for sn0wball. Live by the hack, die by the hack.

if it was you ALL would be banned, not just the people who used the snowball hack, and the isolated number of people who where using priox.

we knew the minute blizzard pushed out a new warden update if there was ANY chance honorbuddy was targeted, we would of taken the ENTIRE product offline to protect our users.

Yeah I used sn0wball and got banned gg. it was fun though I had macros set up so I could teleport to anywhere in Alterac Valley, like I would be in the enemy base before the game even started and stuff like that. I bought a new account and currently using Bgbudy with Arathi Basin now that it's the BG holiday and i'm getting some good XP.

 

I'm new to this, but would you say that outside of player reports and being a complete retard about botting (i.e. using farming profiles 24/7 and posting tons of auctions) you are virtually 100% safe (i.e. HB is undetectable)?

 

I have been part of HB/GB from the start never been banned from it yet but like we always say on here "DON'T BOT IT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE IT" thats it

As for virtually 100% safe "NOTHING TO DO WITH BOTTING OR HACKS" will ever be SAFE!

And lets be honest i would say now i dont use the bot to make gold i use to help me because im lazy lol and dont want to farm something or cant be arsed to do the rotation i then load the bot up as its easy lol

theoretically yes, if you only attached the bot, but played and quested normaly and didnt do stupid shit like make racist jokes in trade chat or pissed off other players, theoretically you should never get a ban, HOWEVER we remain undetected by warden, but there are still server side scripts running to detect "bot like behavior" and while we know what warden can do, we have no idea how those "scripts" (for lack of a better term) work since we don't have a copy of their server software, we can only speculate on whats going on there, while warden we see everything.

Personally i have never been banned at all or had any 72 hours bans either. and been botting for around 2 years now.

me and 3 other pals recently gotten HB/GB due to pirox going down. and i love this bot alltho. one of us got a 72 hour ban doing this wave and no he didnt use snowball or whatever the name is but then again he was botting allmost 24/7 and all he mainly did was skinning in Twilight highlands so ye. my guess he got banned due to a shitload of reports. wich results in a gm looking into u but seems like theyve moved on from pirox now and are looking for the others botters. personally i wont use the grind and gather function at this momment ill wait abit till they cool down at blizzard again.

nevertheless i feel sry for u guys whom lost ur accs.

I botted for 3 months 24/7 posting about 200-300 auctions a day ( probably way more, i dont even remember), at least, never even got a warning. But then I changed servers and I got 4 permanent bans, 3 of which i managed to revert, and 1 i didnt. Worse part is, I botted the right way, setting up the relog plugin so I wouldn't be online all that much plus selling to a permanent buyer instead of posting in the AH. Idunno what happened, but something did :/ Also, I never even heard of that speedhack thing
PS: I made my own profile for twilight highlands ( empty on my realm )

Wow, I cant believe more than 5 people got that p.o.s. hack to actually work. Sorry for your losses folks.

 

I have been botting for a couple of months and got banned when I started doing it 24/7 > i just recently started botting again after my Ban and only did it while I was able to monitor the bot and just got nailed with this
