I am quite surprised that the priest ranks the lowest, I just got the bot and the first toon I leveled was a Disc Priest and it leveled like a champ. It could solo around 6 - 8 mobs its level no problem, the only reason it stops at 8 is because of mana.
Everyone uses Shadow to level and it goes OOM a lot. Discipline spec with InstanceBuddy is best way to level a priest to 80.
Yeah, I tried leveling a priest with Questing and it was painful. Shadow goes OOM non-stop, and dies a LOT because of it. After around level 60 the mana issues go away [or at least they did in Wrath, haven't tried in Cata], but getting to 60 is a real chore on a priest.
easiest class would highly depend on your bot\CC fastest? at a guess id say prot pally \ basically anything that can aoe grind and have fast dungeon que's with he least down time\travel time "so its possible a well setup lock profile + CC could be the fastest to lev from 1-85" easiest: any class you have a decent amount of background knowledge on. all CC's need tweaking its better to know ur class stats or - Auto equip will screw you..
1. Locks need no food or drink, period. You can now Lifetap until mana full and then use SoulHarvest to regain your health for a negligent mana price. This goes for all specs, not just AFF. 2. Demo is now the best leveling spec. You get Demo Form for "oh shit" moments or just as a DPS boost and you get a powerful Felguard which does a nice job at DPS. 3. Singular is the best CC for leveling a Lock. Actually, it's the best CC for general PVE for most classes at all levels. I prefer it even at 85 when I do my dailies or farming, because it is simply better fit for the job than pure raiding CC's. Go with Singular until you reach 85, and then use FelMaster and RaidBot for raids. Whoever said Locks need to do Class Quests for pets and all, this is no longer the case with any class. You now get your Dreadsteed, Felguard, Felhunter, Succubus, Voidwalker and Imp from your class trainer. There are no longer class quests you need to do to get your stuff. Such is the case with all classes, since the second half of WLK. People who say AutoEquip will screw your gearing are generally correct, but they forget the purpose of AutoEquip is to get you some half-decent gear so you can AFK level your character and not appear as a total bot with no gear and Talents. Gear doesn't even matter so much while you level, as you replace it so fast all the time. What matters the most is the talent spec, so set up Talented to use the proper spec and you don't need to bother with gear.
I've leveled a Hunter, Death Knight, Warrior, and Paladin. They all feel the same for the most part besides Hunter because of the pet which aggros things once in awhile.
I botted a lock 1-80 really fast, but I have to say that Prince of Darkness is much better than Singular for the lock. Singular wouldn't even stand still while trying to soul harvest.
There is no clothy which levels even remotely as fast as Warriors/DKs/Pallys. Druids are close as well as Hunters. However any ranged leveling is slower due to bot behavior and those pesky wait times between actions.
I've not yet botted a druid, so I'd have to go with blood DK and prot pally through questing. They might not kill as fast as other classes or specs, but are nigh near impossible to kill and handle crowds really well. Also they make great gathering tunes. Oddly enough I'm bot leveling a sub rogue at the moment (50-somethng and heirloomed) who is doing really well and without much issue; if she wasn't heirloomed though, I don't know if she would be doing nearly as well. I've thought about a feral druid for an herb gatherer, so I might give that a shot after my rogue is done. They seem pretty stout and have all kinds of tools.
I say Mage arcane spec mages 2-3 shot everything from level 15-60 then its all teh same for pretty much every class after tbc
Wondered, when running kicks level profiles, do ya then enable or disable ground mount? - My toons tend to keep running around without dismounting. im really new to this so please be nice regards retepslein1
With enough food, I've found warrior to be the fastest leveling as it eats both single targets and multiple enemies.
Shamans and Druids are pretty much all I will do anymore. Leveling a rogue atm, getting stomped all the time.
