I have been trying to do countless things on this HB program all day, and nothing is working. For the sake of simplicity, I'll just ask about the issues I've had using the PB - Herbalism leveling bot. I will attach a log, but the general problem is that, whenever I used the default 1-300 (Horde) leveling bot, it would run into walls for long periods of time and pass useful herbs. I tried to download another program, some 1-525 (Horde) GB bot, but it is not working either. I'm using ShamWOW as my CC, which is now (according to the log) not working either. Two things you should do at first: Update Professionbuddy from here via svn: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...nbuddy-profession-leveling-bot-plus-more.html Update Shamwow from here: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...-elemental-resto-pvp-raf-healbot-bobby53.html Make sure WOW is running 32bit and Dx9. (Looks like it does, but just to make sure.) Start this profile with Professionbuddy: Mining-herb (1-525)flying-GB2 Deactivate all wow Addons. And THEN press start again. and report back for further actions.
I had already updated PB, and I just replaced my ShamWOW files with the "updated" version (although I downloaded HB yesterday and I think my ShamWOW file was new). Hmm, do you have Autoangler? It clearly states, that PB is broken. Try to set Gatherbuddy2 in the upper right box in the PBconfig window. Did you load your profile in this window and can you see the settings of the profile and/or see some profiles on the left side of the window?
I do not know what Autoangler is. I did try setting it to GB2, it didn't work at all. When I go to Settings/Tools, I am able to choose from multiple different profiles provided I click Bot config (such as Fishing, Herb/Mining, just Herb, etc.) I'm really at a loss of what to do. Would it be best to uninstall/reinstall?
from my POV yeah, shouldnt take too long. Just open a new folder a copy the newest downloaded version in there, dont change anything and just try to start profbud with that profile.
So I have re-downloaded the file, and it seems to be working decently. In an attempt to not mess it up again, is anyone willing to walk me through how to download a profile that will level my Herbalism from ~170 to 525 with a flying mount, for Horde. I, generally, encountered two problems last time. 1 - I was unsure what the best profile for this purpose was, I felt as though I was downloading random ones. 2 - I have no idea where to place the downloaded file to make it function properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated; I have Skype/TeamViewer if necessary. P.S. - I don't want to level mining along with Herbalism, so I would prefer a profile that uses a flying mount but DOESN'T level them both at the same time. Thanks
Im not really sure about the profiles as I havent used them for some time, but I think there is an option in the program settings that you can just select harvest herbs and deselect the minerals, so even if you use a mining profile it will only pick up herbs not mines..
You dont even have to select anything, HB will see if you only have one gathering prof and a crafting prof and will skip the other one by himself. Just go on using the profile i said above.
Doesnt matter, put it where you want. If its a PB profile i would recommend putting it in the /Bots/Professionbuddy/Profiles folder (Because of the Quick load), but a normal grind profile? Doesnt matter.
