Can anyone recommend a VPN to attach to WoW when botting?

I was using Hidemyass. But it DC'd alot and was quite laggy. I would also like to know this tho.

 

I used BTGuard - Anonymous BitTorrent Services for BT, but they also have a VPN service. I have not used it for WoW (yet).

 

It was a pure VPN. Just start the app and choose the location and click start.

You could also set it to run only when WoW was going. But I never did.

 

You shouldn't use a VPN or a Proxy. These IP's are well known @ a blacklist besides Blizzard.

 

why would using a vpn make a diference

 

If he gets banned, he can say his account got hacked and the can compare the wan ips. But this won't work at all, there will be a good visiable rotation.
Playing wow 4hours from wanip 1, go to sleep and bot 8 hours with wanip2, come home from school/work play 4 hours with wanip1, go to sleep and bot with wanip2..

If you have knowledge about Linux, get cheap 6-10 dollar/month virtual private server with TUN/TAP interface enabled (ask the provider before buying) and install openVPN.

Pros:
You get "clean" IP.
You have complete control over server (and logs).
Less laggy than "turn the key" VPN services.
Same price as the "turn the key" solution.. but you have the root access so you can install whatever you want.
Stable VPN if your VPS is stable.

Cons:
Not the easiest one to install (but google is friend)
Some provider may oversell VPS nodes (too many customers on one physical machine, read the reviews).

You can still complain and will probably get unbanned if it's your first/second offense, but if you have been caught botting before, still a chance you will be perm banned. Using a vpn makes no difference.

If you use those vell good known VPN, probaby is high risk to be banned just for IP not for botting. A lot botters use those VPN's. Clean IP is solution over VPS.

Pile of shit mazty Ive had about 40 accounts banned and the only ones I have ever got back are the one banned for abuse of economy all the hacks/third party got the crap auto response time and again.

VPS and VM ware are essential and shall certainly be on my new setup

 

I rent a private server for $4 a month. https://www.frontrangehosting.com They have some more expensive setups, but the $4/month one works fine for me. There is a guide on ownedcore on how to set everything up.

 

so my question is still... is btguard anygood for wow?
