i was wondering what people find faster for leveling out of the 2 and which CC they use for it. Thanks
I personally am using prot right now, but a friend of mine is using ret and we seem to be going at around the same speed using Kick's questing profile. The cc we are both using is Fpsware Paladin. So maybe my answer to your question might not be too precise, but thats what im using and it seems to be running great, because it just seems like I wont die to anything
i leveled to 70 as ret but then i did a dugeon and saw how fast prot pallies drop stuff so i went prot duel spec with all ret gear besides a PVP shield and boa tank 1h and im using ProtPally (AoE Leveling CC) its working good it pulls multiple mobs and aoes them down faster than ret would so as of right now i like protection.
I've found that prot with DPS gear is nigh near invincible when questing. I leveled a human prot pally to 85 as prot by a combination of questing and archaeology (archy through most of the 70's). I ran some cata zones with him and he just withstood everything, even with several adds. Now that he's 85, I've switched him to ret and am gearing him accordingly. Edit: Oh by the way, I used Singular as the CC. Had no issues. Is it the best? I don't know, but it worked fine.
