Hey guys, i'm pretty interested to see what kind of setups people use for botting - especially on a large scale Here's mine, just about to set it up now with 25 accounts - what about you guys?
My Office.... My main PC 2 x 26" screens. 1 x 22" 6 core i7 24Gb RAM Tripple SLI GTX 580 View attachment 36788 My secondary PC - for misc stuff and things 1 x 24" 1 x 22" 4 core i7 12Gb RAM SLI GTX 260 View attachment 36789 1 x dedicated botting PC, nothing special. Only supports 3-4 clients 1 x Windows Server 2008 (in the cupboard). View attachment 36790
Really nice mate, i'll refrain from making a crude joke about the tissues in the second picture the only two comps with decent specs I have are the main desktop there which is an 8 core i7 with 32gb ram and my macbook pro which is also an i7 but only 8gb ram, overheats like hell though sadly.
The tissues in the picture are next to my masturbation station, so, I really need them there ... or I it could be because I hae the man-flu right now and I'm leaking like a sieve.
Well either way i'm sure they surve their purpose well hopefully we will get some more pics when people wake up!
I use my main desktop / gaming rig for botting: 12gb 1333 mhz ram gtx 560ti graphics card quad core amd 2.4 ghz processor I only bot 1 account, but I guess I could run atleast 5 if I wanted to
I have 3 systems for botting: My main gaming rig: I5-2500K @ 4.5GHZ 16GB 1600MHZ DDR3 RAM 2GB HD 6970 Windows 2008 Server I run the bots each in their own VM (sometimes 2 per VM) so they all have seperate Mac address' on the Virtual NICs. Second System: AMD Phenom X6 1055T @ 3.6GHZ 16GB DDR3 1333MHZ RAM HD 6670 Windows 2008 Server Same as above as for how the setup runs. Currently has a blown PSU. Third and only occasionally used system: July '11 Mac Mini 2.3GHZ I5 8GB RAM Intel HD 3000 GFX Again all on VMs I have a Multi Session VPN account that I believe supports upto 30 connections through completely different servers around the world however am not 100% sure. Each VM has their own individual VPN connection and are never connected to the same server. I consider this the safest way possible to bot multiple accounts with less potential for a sweeping ban
How safe is it to bot on 2 accounts using the same IP and computer? Does that risk go higher if you use 5 or 10 accounts at the same time same PC? I always wished to run multiple accounts, but I'm a little bit uninformed =(
3 desktops 1 laptop 2 desktops for botting exclusively: i5 750 8gb ram ATI 6450 (for passive cooling) botting desktops needed to be really silent because I sleep in the same room. I use the laptop to lvl up new accounts. This a bit old, nov 2011 I think, back when I was using pirox. I've expanded a bit since then.
How doesnt Blizzard find you out due to extensive time online with multiple accounts on the same IP and machines? Wouldn't it be pretty simple for them to detect such kind of behavior?
if one is reported, they check his ip, all get easily identified as farmers/traders/whatever and they ban all of them, it takes some seconds and they go down one by one in seconds. i have Seen that on my accounts...
Main Rig: i7 960 3.2ghz Ati Radeon HD 7970 12gb DDR3 SSD OCZ Botting: Quad Core Q6600 12gb DDR2 ATI HD 5850 SSD OCZ 1TB 7200rpm @Work cant post PIC when i get home i will I dont Bot anymore to make cash (not worth it and hard to get private buyer) just use it to bot my Alts and stuff so ic an play them on ma Main Rig waiting for Intel new Processor to build a new RIG Maybe x2 HD 7970 or 7990(when it release) with some good stuff Investing money on a big Business, HB give me the First Step i will continue now
I use Windows 2008 R2 Server because I get better VM performance and less overhead vs Windows 7 (my main OS when not botting).
