Well First off, I would like to say Hello, This is my first post and first thread here on the Honorbuddy Forums. This is also my First time boting. So Yes I am a noob but with exuberance and time ill learn to catch on quickly Anywho, Onward! This is my 4th Day using Honorbuddy and Already Got Full S11 Gear on my Toon! It worked amazingly! but as myself being a First Time Botter you know how "scared" i must be trying to avoid my account getting ban and such. However, Im not dumb i do monitor my bots and use plugins for alerts and dont run my bot over normal hours such are from 12am till 12pm -_-' So After Sneaking around the forums i Noticed alot of people have tons of level 85s using Botting. And I'm Curious How do you level? Fast Method: (time /played) Safe Method: (time /played)
I quest to 60, then Archaeology from there on out. Archy is pretty much hands free. I babysit my questing but run Archy overnight. I've recently started using HBRelog and just started running Archy in 3 hour sessions with an hour off. Make sure you have at least artisan riding if you plan to use Archy. Archy can not only give you XP but can sometimes turn up a surprising artifact worth several hundred gold.
Questing for speed. Archaeology safe. BGBuddy is a mix of the two. If you love your account DONT GRIND. That is the most unsafe method of all Good luck.
questing is probably the most "safe" of the things you can do.. or archaeology.. as mentioned above.. BUT, the banhammer can strike anyone and anywhere xD
When I rerolled alliance, I only used Questing. It is way safer, as your interaction with other players are a lot lower, than for example BG's and Grinding (grinding since you'll stay in the same hotspot close to forever at higher levels) As a horde, I did AV botting on AV weekends, however this is insanely risky, and when it didn't fit into an AV weekend, I used Archbuddy, as it is a nice steady XP/hour, with as close to no failure, crashes or anything like that, and again no player interaction.
I'm using Kicks Questing till 84 and leveling mining / herbing afterwards. Imho its fast, secure and need less babysitting day by day. Did I mentioned I'm using Kicks profiles till 84?
I level all my toons through pvp. I have of the horde title on my rogue Kickz profiles work well too for questing, I use them 1-10 lol.
Mixed Mode: BgBuddy (For s3 Stylgear ) Grind Bot - because there is no really good questing profile for me
I'm new like you, so far I managed to get a hunter to 29 using kicks profile with a lot of babysitting. I might start leveling a warrior soon and see how that goes with it.
I would say 1-67 Kick, 67-68 Arch, then Kick + Arch Reason - Arch is slower, but VERY AFKable and profitable. Kick is fastest, but needs babysitting, not to mention it relies on a lot of grinding for Outland and doesn't really have any quests beyond Zangarmarsh. I am right now using Arch to get from 67-68 because Arch gives me a lot of gold I can use to pay for my flying and since my toon is all alone on the realm in question and doesn't have a "Big Brother" for looms and golds, Arch works wonders. I have money for bags, and for flying, and for everything that matters and I will probably also get Battle.net account bound Epics for my lowbie, which in the absence of Looms will be awesome. TL;DR - mix of Arch and Kick, for greater justice and profit.
I usually use kicks profiles up to 67, then bg buddy to 70. Buy full lvl 70 pvp gear, then after that it becomes a bit of a mixture as Ive found the northrend questing quite buggy and needing a lot of babysitting. Basically though I would try to quest from 70-80 but if I cant babysit then I put on Arch buddy. At 80 again im continuing to quest with heavy babysitting, or pvp to try and get full honor and justice points ready for hitting 85. Im more in it for gearing up the 85's though than making serious gold. Although I do have a farming character too
