Fpsware Priest - BETA Testers Required

I am looking for a number of people who want to beta test my latest - and by far greatest - CC. This CC [like all others to follow] is based on my newest base CC template, it is a complete rewrite from the ground up and includes a great number of features and abilities I have always wanted to add to my CCs.

This will be a closed user test, once I'm happy with the results the CC will be released publically.

You must be able to provide descriptive and useful feedback and know how to use a SVN.

I am [currently] only looking for people to test Discipline and Shadow QUESTING and/or GRINDING between levels 30-75.

Installation instructions. This CC must be in a folder called Fpsware Priest inside HBs CustomClasses folder. If your installation does not look like the below image then it will not work!




Almost all settings in the UI have tooltips. Hover over a setting and you will see a very brief description.


The UI is straight forward and in plain english, though, it is extremely powerful and configurable.




Template management. On the main UI at the bottom there is a button "Templates..." and a drop down box. The drop down box allows you to choose from existing setting templates. The Template Management UI allows you to create new templates or deleted existing ones. NB: when creating a new template use ONLY text and/or numbers as this will be the file name. As yet I am not performing any illegal character checks when saving the file.





Multiple Options UI. Some settings allow you to have multiple options. Eg, Psychic Scream in this screenshot will be cast when you have 3+ adds OR when the target is casting OR when the target is in melee range. If the logic type (drop down box) was set to AND all conditions would need to be met for the spell to be cast. So in this example if you had choosen AND logic, it would be only if you have 3+ adds AND if your target is casting AND if your target is in melee range.





Advanced: Customised combat rotation. Chose the order in which the CC casts the spells. Regardless of the spells choosen here, a spell is only considered based its setting on the Combat tab. Eg, even through Shadow Word: Death is number 1, if this was set to NEVER on the combat tab SWD would never be cast.





ISSUES, BUGS AND IMPORTANT STUFF - Read before posting!

ATTACH YOUR LOG FILE WITH EVERY REPORT.

A CC is only responsible for combat and initiating combat (pulling) - but only after HB has selected an appropriate target. Anything happening outside of combat happens within HB not the CC. The CC is not responsible for choosing a target, looting, training, navigation, vendoring or anything like that.

Line of Sight. This CC uses HB's LineOfSpellSight check on all spells, yet sometimes it will still attempt to cast a spell when the target is not in LOS. There is nothing I can do about this right now.

Healing Tab: Party Healing and Protection does not work. Don't bother making changes to these settings as they are not used or saved.

Mind Sear, Holy Nova have not been tested.

Settings changed in the UI are applied IMMEDIATELY to the CC. But the settings file is not saved until you click the Save and Close button.

This CC works best when the pull distance is set to 40 or more. If you are using Kick's questing profiles make sure you change the pull distance each time you start/stop HB as it resets this to 25.

This is a Questing/Grinding test only. It has not been tested in PVP or instances.

 

my shadow priest just reached 80,so a bit out of the testing area,but since all of cata questing is ahead of me,i would like to nominate myself for the beta test.

I'm currently on level 41 with a shadow priest if you're still requiring tests on it

 

Leveling a shadow priest with questing...currently lvl 48 and moving upward.

 

I have a lvl 70 priest that I'm about to level to 85 (shadow) via questing. I'd be interested in testing on the upper end for you.

 

Hitting lvl 31 with my priest now, really interested to try it out! =)

Will try to feedback as much as I can and already using SVN to update other profiles. I can also try out both specs + grinding and questing if needed.

EDIT: Also have a 85 priest if needed in the future.

 

I have an attonment disc priest about 50. If you want I'll roll a new one.

 

When you're ready for 85 heroic Shadow testing let me know, I'll test for you.
