As the title says, is it dangerous to bot for 6-7 hours straightand then log out from wow and honorbuddy?
dude u can bot for 20 mins and get caught, its based on pure luck, its not a high chance of getting caught but the chance is always there, if people knew the percentages of the risk would they bot for so long?
Yes, it's dangerous. Botting for 1 hour is dangerous. Botting for 1 minute is dangerous. How dangerous? Not very if you take the right precautions. it's not the amount of time you spend (although that does factor in) as much as what you do whilst botting.
I've never had an account ban through botting "knock on wood" and the reason is because I make sure to watch it. It's pretty much common sense, but if you are going to honor grind for 6-7 hours (Like I do) make sure you're bot does nothing stupid in those 6 hours the first time and then you should be ok to leave it AFK the next.
It depends on what your bot is doing and whether or not you monitor it or not. When you're gathering, use /who often when you're botting to see how many people are in your area to decrease your chance of getting reported. Also, interact with them as well, give em a wave or a hello. All and all, botting has its risks and you should do what you can to minimize them by not being too suspicious. I bot for 15 hours a day but monitor them frequently, I also dont farm areas longer than 2 hours usually only about 1 hour, move to another area for another hour, then return(you farm nodes faster this way if there are not much competition because it takes a couple mins for nodes to respawn.)
This. Just leave the f***** on all day and get a phone app to control it remotely to do basic things like use the AH and switch modes. It just seems like you have no life and you're not a bot at all. The 1000 people in my guild think their GM is just an asshat who doesn't respond and plays all day because I do ish occasionally .
