When I started I was just like you. This was all Japanese to me. My suggestion is before you even start the bot to do something, read all the wikis you can find. Go to the guides section and read everything that pertains to what you want to do with the program. Read through most of the pages of multiple cc's to find out what you think you might like best. Aka, read, read some more and familiarize yourself with everything.
Starting botting is always hard, it'll basically require you to sit in front of your comp and repeat trial and error process until you figure a way to have it fully automatic. BUTTTTT HB is beyond easy to use compared to other bots i've had in the past, it already includes a character profile so you don't need to set skills and such (can change it once you become more advanced to match your botting style). Load a bot type (BG / GB2 / Profession / etc), load a profile (downloaded from the forum) tweek settings for 5 sec and start.
