72 hour suspension - First time botting on the account.

What is it with everyone saying i was leveling by just mining? I leveled by questing, I went to Uldum to farm, tested my class out on the mobs and killed them easily. It was 2 hours in Uldum. all the time you see level 80s in there. I'm on a dead server where your luck to see 2+ in uldum at any given time.

I've been botting a lot longer then most people in this thread, and have only ever been banned once which was in the first ever HB bnawave, I know what I'm doing, and the fact my SoR accounts are all linked to my mains battle.net doesnt suggest I have just come back after a long break and shouldnt be in uldum.

And yes I appealed, but they said it will stand the 72 hour suspension.

 

In the eyes of a potential reporter, you were in a zone you cannot quest in, farming, ergo, levelling by gathering.

How do 99.9% of real players level their characters? Questing.

Sure, there's always someone with an alt they just use to farm so they legitimatelly end up levelling via gathering (like my gf did with her druid), but the vast majority of sub 83 toons in uldum are bots (and sub 84 in TH).

It doesn't matter that you leveled to 82 questing and that you just went to uldum to test your class.
In the eyes of another player, you're that much more likely to be a bot (which you were).

All it takes is one bot hunter to a /who uldum and notice that you probably shouldn't be there to report you.

I'm not saying that's what happened, my crystal ball is not working atm...

Just thought I'd leave some advice as you seem to be lacking in the common sense department, no matter how long you've been botting.

to me it seems, they want to show us that they can hit with banhammer anyone, when most of here try to deny that

I've levelled three characters from 80-85 like that. Never once been banned or suspended.

 

So, thought I'd come here and post a report on a suspension, just like I'm ment to. yet my thread attracts the attention of a few idiots who like to bash someone that's been suspended. I was unlucky, that's all. Many people on these forums have botted uldum on level 80s and like above posted said he levled 3 chars 80>85 in uldum. So why everyone is here saying it's pretty much a instant ban for anyone under 83 in uldum is clueless. All this is, is a case of wrong place at wrong time and nothing more.

 

You rather:

You touched a node some farmer wanted and got reported. Some people out their make real money off this farming and they will report you with multi accounts or friends.. after all your "stealing their money"
Got stuck in a building/tree/rock and got reported.
Used a VPN and got detected.
Fell victim to a power tripping GM. <---- I have a history of 4 attempts of this before I got the bot.

I have learned bot or not you touch a node and your looking at a ban of some kind. Blizzard's GM I dont trust and will lie to pretend "they got proof" but in the end I got them to reverse actions on my account every single time.

I have never used the GB, I only use kicks lvling and pvp bot. I got 5 new 85's and ran the bot 24/7 and NEVER got so much as a warning or anything. I also never got around to getting a VPN for my accounts which im glad about now since a lot more bans seemed to be pointed to Warden detecting those, although a majority of them are being reversed also from what I seen.

I can PROMISE you I turn off, delete, format and reinstall warcraft and be completely botless and go hunting for nodes I WILL have another ban and I will have to call in and tell them their crazy and unbann my account.

 

With HB being undetected, "technically" everything people get banned for is bad luck (or being at the wrong place at the wrong time). It's all about minimizing the risks.

I never said farming in Uldum at 82 was an instant ban. All I said (very respectfully I might add) was that it's not normal player behavior to be there at that level, and that you were drawing unnecessary attention to yourself.
But then you got defensive and started talking like you're mister bigshot botter, and, I'm sorry, but that's just asking to get trolled.

We can all get banned at any time, for anything, and I think most of us know that.
Like I said, in my experience, staying safe (from reports at least) is not about making the bot NOT land on a node, or taking smoother turns when farming. It's about keeping a low profile within the server.

 

Another ban report turns into a flame war.. GJ guys.

 

Another thing I was just told about from a blizz rep themselves was their is a system in place that watches how much you gather before you trigger the autobann alarm. I was told when I gather do it on a system of 30 minutes with a node then go to something else for awhile then come back to it and run another 30 mins. I also found out of all my temp banns I only have 1 on record all the rest fell off the system.. hmmm

 

I don't buy what he told you. Honestly, if there was such a system, I doubt they'd just tell us about it like that.
And... 30 mins? We'd all be falling like flies around here if that's all it takes. I have 4 accounts running 8-16 hours depending on the day, and there's tons of people going 24/7...

 

30 mins was an average time given to me, but they did say their was a hard cap in place that when you gather to much of item "X" the system automatically takes some kind of action. I was on the phone some time.. cant say for sure because I think blizz does watch these forums. But at the end of this very long phone call when I was asking about my account status and why it seems every time I grab a node a few hours later turn into a ban thats when they got more in detail about whats on my account and what to do not to see a bann again. But im also sure they didnt tell me everything.

 

but what is a great profile to use then to win alot of money with mining?!
