Hello guys, I've wondering how big is the chance to get banned when you bot?
      1) Is the chance to get banned bigger when you do bg's or are the chance less?
      2) Do you have any "tips" to give me?

Depends on what you are using HB for

Botting in Uldum with zuabros' profiles? Highly probable ban chance
Using HB only for Lazyraider? Very low ban chance
BGBuddy is decent, far from perfect, but decent.

All about what you are using it for. Any form of farming poses a higher ban chance than questing for example. Using public profiles is also a good way to be banned. Just be smart about whatever it is you are here to do, and like they say, "Don't bot anything you don't want to lose".

I've been safe questing for awhile now, combat bots like lazyraider and raid bot are okay, bg buddy might have a moderate chance since there's player interaction which I would recommend watching the screen every now and then, farming mats is the most risky I believe especially if using a public profile and even more risky if the place you're farming is popular.

So questing in nothrend should be quite safe on a low populated server?

Botted my toon to level 27 in 23 hours on a high populated server, nothing happened to me, yet ;)
I'd say the chance is low, but keep an eye on what the bot is doing and answer the whispers you receive.

Its clearly that you care much about your toon. Best tip would be sitting next to the pc and keeping an eye on the bot till you feel comfortable leaving it by itself.

Other general tips would be, don't let your bot walk around in all green gear. Either do an occasional instance, or buy some blue items on AH, when you have some blue items its not a huge deal if you wear these a little longer then you normally do with greens. As the blues just makes the character seem more human-like it should not be a problem, however since your bot quests and most gear-quests give you blue items so that saves you some gold. Don't turn off looting. Most important when you download a questprofile check through the thread if it has stuck points, and make sure they are not at the stage when you leave it alone.

      Bullshit.
I botted with Glider from the release until it closed down, I got away in EVERY SINGLE banw@ve, and the only record of suspension/bans I have on any of my accounts, is ONE suspension from farming honor with AutoIt.

I highly disagree! If all botters will eventually be banned it's gonna be because Blizzard finally developed something that detects the program. But even if they do at some point, the word will come out and people will bypass it. Stating that they will ban all botters as a fact, is silly. A huge understatement of the community IMHO.

      To answer the question though,
There's always a risk when botting, but if you do it with a bit of brain, the chance is slim. Don't use poorly created Profiles or CC's. Always be at your computer when botting to minimize the risk.
Don't bot in the same area for more than 5 hours. Farming, Gathering etc. And if you wanna bot in BG's, the safest way would probably be as a healer.
But really, the best way to bot is a few hours at a time with breaks. Don't overdo it.
