Will this get me banned?

I have a botting account and a main account. They are both on the same server, and same fraction. I have a guild bank on the botting account, but I have a level 1 toon from my main account in the guild too. I use the toon from my main to have access to the gold the bot makes. If something were to happen and my bot got banned, could this get my main banned too?

The bot and main were/run made on 2 separate computers.

 

I've heard of some people getting the main banned, but it seems to be the safest way.

 

I believe Blizz's policy is if the guild can be shown to be a bot guild or found to have something amiss with it. They may ban all accounts involved with that guild.

 

It's possible yes. Will it for sure, nobody knows.

 

Would having my main join just to take out gold, then leave be a better way to go?

 

No, as there would still be logs of it. I'd say just leave it. As long as you do it slowly over time, not you know, build up 200k then pull it all at once. Do like 10k total one week, then 15 the next, 20-30 the next.
No proof that they gauge it over time, but meh.

 

No one will give you a straight answer your asking people to give you a yes or no on a toss up everyone has to gamble with when they decide to bot

 

If we used HB discreetly in the past and lets say perhaps they lose the lawsuit, is it a garaunteed ban even if i dont bot after the lawsuit?

 

I believe they aren't allowed to give Blizzard any details on customers as it would violate Data Protection laws.
Pirox didn't give away details after they caved in as otherwise there would of been a mass ban a few months ago.

Besides its going to take years at this rate and if you truly value an account and would rather not see it lost then don't bot at all on it.

 

i appreciate the reply, and i do value my account and did stop botting, the only thing i botted was a death knight to 85. everything else i bot on an alt account and take precautions. And what will take years, the lawsuit?

 

cuz i mean i did hear that they track it and once the lawsuit finishes they doa ban wave, even if u botted months and months ago, i mean at this point should i just xfer my toons i care about to another account just to be safe? or if i stop botting on main account all together should i be fine, ive only done it for like a week and had no arising suspicion
