Regarding Kick's questing profiles.

Has anyone had any success/experience with these they can share? I was thinking about trying it out but I was wondering if anyone had any advice first. Thanks

 

I got 1-80 with after that, hyjal and uldum work okay... but way to many pop-ups for my liking, I normally just do PVP till 85 so I have some starter gear when I ding.

 

All of his profiles are mostly flawless, hyjal also did the Quest archievement (so did borean tundra and barrens and ashenvale) for me , it completed 119/115 Quests there. Havent tried Uldum, after the ship quests Deepholm was fucked up for me, didnt know how to fix it. And the low profiles are flawless got from 70-75 just with borean tundra quests as example.

 

Defiantly going to try it then!

 

Sidenote: Care when you start the profile! If you want to use the profile for 68-80 of him you need to change something if youre already 75 or smth:

you're welcome, they also switch to the next profile by their own. If you level up they check if they need to switch the profile. I wouldnt recommend activate learning new skills and never learning new flightpaths but activate use flightpaths. And on higher levels (40 or smth) uncheck grinding between hot spots, so he does not kill every mob on his way while moving via mount.

 

The Northrend profiles are the most flawless, had mine running for 6 hours straight with no hick ups at all.

Hiyal is almost perfect too, BC is a bit messy, better check on it from time to time, the other Cata Profiles are okay, moving your toon every now and then still beats doing it all by hand ALOT You gotta do some stuff by hand in Cata though by design since the quests are a bit more creative ^^

 

I finished up levelling my Shaman from 1 to 85 a few days ago, only took just under 6 days played.

Apart from the odd time getting stuck and pop ups for me to manually do something, I give Kick's profiles three thumbs up.

 

The pop-ups for user interaction are not kicks Fault, either the bot can not handle them quests(and they need to be completed for chains), or he needs Quest behaviours coded for them. Apart from problems out of Kicks reach to fix his profiles are completely flawless

 

I have a problem in Deepholm. I somehow disconnected, and when i logged on, a message appeared right after i started the bot saying: "You DC'd or stop and started; please do the boat quests and press start". I manually did the boat quests and restarted the bot, still the same message appears.

In the debug section of Honorbuddy, it says this in red letters: [16:24:38:784] Goal: User Attention Required...

Also worth notable, the only option in the user dialog is to stop the bot, which then again sends this message to the log: "[UserDialog-v217(user response) @line 392]: Honorbuddy stopped due to Profile Writer request"

Tried to restart the software and start an other profile, but the same message appears every time.

I know that they arent his fault, just pointing it out.

And no, they are most certainly not "flawless" which would mean that you never get stuck anywhere which isnt the case but they are pretty damn good, used them on several toons myself so far with great success

 

im in love with kicks profiles, to me they are flawless. im a huge fan of what kick do. there have been a few hickups but that is not kicks fault, i consider that my own.

BUT

i wonder, are there also anyone of you who are experienceing Compiling issues with the quests in the Questbot

No dout Kicks profiles are as good as they are going to get.

 

Thats not true, in fact the unreleased versions are already far better and they are only getting better.

 

i used his profiles recently i got from 60-85 within 4 days of casual bottling, only problem areas for me were in deepholm and uldum has alot of pop ups, i would suggest 80-82 use the hyjal profile, grind or pvp to 83 then use uldum to 85 if you can babysit it.

as natfoth stated - the developers copy of my profiles (ie: my copy that i share with the behavior developers) is far superior than what I have released

the main issue is getting the vehicle behaviors to work ... w/o user assistance. atm i'm focusing on classic and then i'll focus on cata (since bc / lk are already pretty good w/o more quests being added)

 

awesome. there are a few things here and there throughout leveling that you have to do manually. it will pop up and say "user attention required..." but those are mainly in the level 80-85 range.

but its basically fully afk, just check it every half hour or so to make sure it doesnt need you to do something.
