If I play both of my wow accounts simultaneously (and on the same computer) on the same battle.net account will it increase the chance of my account being flagged? I'm still new to this and i'm not really sure of things like this. Thanks in advance, chaz
I don't think you can log into two of your accounts at the same time if they're on the same BNet Acc.
Yes you can. Multiple accounts on one battlenet is treated as seperate accounts when it comes to logging in altough all share the BoA items on that one Bnet ID.
what about with bans? if one gets banned for botting, or exploitation of the market, does the whole battle net get banned?
I would imagine that if one account on the Bnet is banned then all accounts are banned. A friend with several accounts however assures me that he got one account banned, not all. I'm personally doubtful and don't want a ban to find out. He says that the account only got a 3 day ban though so that may make things more clouded.
I had 3 accounts on same e mail, and one closed for gold selling but others remain still. Each account is responsible from itself i mean, when you do something forbidden in Blizzard's rules this is interested in the account which you break the rules. BUT... Yes there is a huge but here. When you bot with 3 accounts from the same mail, you have a bigger chance to get banned with both. Why? Because a gm could easily check your battle.net account and see how many accounts playing from this mail address at the same time. So it is probably bannable when you do it. Seperating your mail address is always safer for botting. At least i think so. But even when it is not, then it is regarding with wow account to get banned not with battle.net account. For ex: asdsda@asdasfa.com>>battle.net account and got 3 wow accounts; wow1, wow2, wow3. If wow1 is banned that does not mean others get banned as well. Besides, Blizzard even clarifies via mail which they send you due to the fact that you get banned the other accounts will not be taken action.
I currently have 2 wow's on my bnet account, 1 is banned the other isn't. The one that is banned was banned for gold sell aswell haha. Now I can't remember for sure whether they were both active at the same time but I think they were. However having 2 wow's on a single bnet account has the same effect as 2 wows on the same IP I feel. (Could be wrong though so don't quote me on that).
So, will there be a heightened chance of me getting caught if I'm for example; Raiding on my main acc and botting herbs/mines on my alt account?
If we are only talking about heightened chance, then yeah. But this a chance at all. My all farming account which were banned so far (more than 10) were on seperate battle.net accounts. But my friend has 3 accounts in 1 battle.net account 7/22 farming and still not banned. Report is the first option as far as i know.
