I have been botting 72 straight hours to get an account banned that has annual pass so I don't have to pay for it anymore with no ban yet. Either there is no autoban script or the gms have a backload of bots to ban.
Source confirming that if you get banned you don't have an obligation to still pay your annual fee that you electronically signed a contract for?
bro, thats normal. I have been logged onto my main account for the past week. i hardly ever log off. Been doing this for ages.
There were several gm posts that say since you are banned, you have no access to pay therefore you lose all the privileges of the annual pass including diablo 3.
I still think that we give blizzard too much credit for the sophistication of their bot identification systems.
That would open up a whole host of legal issues. Blizzard would have to prove in court that you were botting, etc.
I'm under the impression that if you just cancel your sub or stop putting in prepaid time, you are fine. You simply won't get to keep Diablo. I could be wrong I guess.
Yeah, all he has to do is remove his credit card and let the game lapse for a while. OP, try reading the annual pass FAQ - it answers many commonly asked questions like yours
Just cancel your subsciption. You dont need to pay for annual pass. If you stop paying they stop "renting" diablo 3. thats all. Blizz rents diablo 3 during 12 months and If you fulfill your side of agreement and pay for 12 months blizz gives diablo 3 for free. You can stop paying anytime you like and lose diablo3 and mount, however i dont think they will remove the mount.
Why wouldn't they? If you buy a mount from the pet store and the credit card company takes back the money, you think they'd let you keep the merchandise?
This. Botted with Pirox damn near 24/7....and easily 18 hours a day with HB. Not a peep from Blizz. I see all these peeps getting banned on the forums and I gotta shake my head. I just don't get it... Now, have I ever posted 100+ auctions a day or trade/sold gold? Nope.
