I sold all ores to private buyers and only had made 6k gold so far. I just noticed one of the accounts had been banned for Abuse of the Economy as opposed to Hacks and Cheats (which the other 8 were banned for) and it was a perma ban on the level 85 guy who was botting Uldum. I recalled I xfered ores from this account (about 10-16 full 22 slot bags) to a character on one of my other accounts through trade and then sold the ores to private buyers in Stormwind, any chance the trade xfers might have gotten me banned or a maybe it was a report in Uldum ...btw I appealed the level 85 guy's suspension saying that I did not sell gold and I have my account back as of this morning...
also nobody whispered me once while in Uldum... which leads me to believe might have been someone using the new report a player feature....
I had a similar situation, I was botting on three characters, on one of which accounts I sell gold, On the account I sold gold on I received a perma ban, and all the other accounts stayed up even though they were on the same IP. I appealed the ban, and said I have never traded gold for real world currency or vis-a-versa etc. got the account back, laid low for a while, turned by bot on for the first time today since the ban on the 20th of April, and with 3 hours of botting i just got suspended on a separate account for botting "cheats". There's almost no way i received any reports because I monitor it almost 100% and I am the only person I have seen in the area ever, minus the occasional miner, but we dont interfere because they dont hang around, and they are obviously botting too. I'm not sure but I think something might be detectable, or this is very coincidental, that my accounts as well as others keep getting hit with suspensions and bans, all around the same time.
If something was detectable, there would be a lot more people on here posting that they were banned. No matter when you check the banned section, you will usually find someone having been banned several times a week, its not to big of a chance that two people do it at the same time.
