Sorry, yes I was referring to the mobile web interface. Not sure how I missed clicking on 'guild' in the chat logs to send replies from the same area but I did. I blame lack of sleep and I'm sticking to that excuse. Thanks for the reply and pointing out the errors of my ways. Keep up the great work!!
I don't think I actually documented that feature anywhere, for what it's worth, though it is based on how you can click names in WoW for chat (not sure if that's built in or one of my addons doing that though).
How did you get this working on a Mac? I have Java installed on mine, but when I double-click "JGlideMon.jar" it just creates a new folder called "JGlideMon.jar Folder" with "jgm" "META-INF" and "org" subfolders. When I try to to user Terminal I just get a blank prompt: Code: > java -jar "/Path/To/JGlideMon/JGlideMon.jar" > Any ideas on how I can run JGlideMon on my Mac are greatly appreciated. P.S. Awesome job timglide!
It sounds like the jar file is associated with whatever program automatically unzips zip files (a jar is really a zip file but with Java files inside). Maybe this link would help: How do you open a jar file on a mac. Admittedly I haven't been able to test on a mac.
Thanks Tim - that did the trick! So now I have JGlideMon running on my Mac (at work). Is it possible to connect to my PC running WoW/HB at home? I enabled the web server, forwarded port 3201 and can connect with a browser. Is the same possible with JGlideMon (i.e. to use it in a client mode)? Thanks again!
BaturalNoobs, just to verify I understand: You have HB and JGlideMon running on the same PC at home and you can connect to the web server from work. But now you want to run JGlideMon itself on your work computer. If that is the case then you simply need to forward GliderRemoteCompat's port (3200) in addition to the webserver port (3201). Then configure JGlideMon running on your work computer to connect to the external ip address of your home (which would be the same thing you typed in the web browser) with GliderRemoteCompat's port (3200). There is no need to enable the webserver in JGlideMon that's running on the work computer since it would be redundant.
about screenshots I use 3g on my Iphone and was wondering I lowered the Quality down to the lowest it can go and it takes like 5mins to load a image. anyway we can get a smaller size like my phone size?
At the moment the only adjustments for the screenshot are the scale and quality. If you know ahead of time you'll want to see it on your phone you can uncheck to automatically adjust the scale and lower it and test it on your phone. This will result in the screenshot being smaller within JGlideMon also, but for now it's the only option.
M8, im using the plugin and is amazing . realy good job. can o add a tab to get the info tab of HB plz ??? to get the deaths, and what is the bot doing ?? tks in advance
Still a problem with my screenshots I lowered the quality down and made it so it would refresh every 30 seconds but all im getting after 1 screenshot is a black screen.
Amazing plugin. Does this support multi bots on a singal PC? tried to set different port for each HB, only first one works
Since I only run one bot I can only speculate. If you run separate copies of HB in completely separate folders and set GliderRemoteCompat to a different port for each it should work, but I have no way to verify that. If HB lets you run multiple instances from the same folder I am certain it will not work.
This is really awesome! Only thing what is not working properly is the mobile version of the webserver. The links are not working proper. I always have to open them in a new window. I guess it's because of the jtouch scroll effects which are maybe not correct implemented
Just saw, that there is an issue report already - Issue 3 - jglidemon - Mobile web client doesn't work on Android - Java-based Remote Monitor for MMOGlider - Google Project Hosting I already tried to fix that, but it seems to be almost impossible without knowing the code... Looks like the issue is related to the creation of the webserver. I modified files from the "jtouch main demo" which is available on their webpage and added them to the jar file - instead of the existing one. Loded the webserver and I've got the same issue as with your files. Loading directly in my browser works fine. Also tried to modify the links in the mobile.html like "/strict/mobile.html#status", but I simply can't get it to work... Would be really nice if you could find a solution for that.
I just need to rewrite the mobile version to use the jQuery Mobile framework instead of jQTouch, which I really should have done in the first place. Not really sure what I was thinking at the time. Just haven't had time recently.
When i lock on honorbuddy it's write this:"You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to! Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with! This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #15354 You are currently on build #0" What should i do?
