      Account Name: WOW1

Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.

      Blah blah blah . . .

      Blizzard Entertainment
      World of Warcraft

So this account was used for mainly three things, to shuffle ore (prospect craft disenchant), farm whiptail, and mill herbs/create ink. I created all the profiles I used for GB2 and PB, none were public. It was only about the last week I had been farming Uldum, and for around 12 hours a day, although I'd give the bot a .5-2 hour break every six hours or so. The accounts only about a month and a half old, I'm kinda surprised to have gotten it banned already. It was never involved in selling gold as the ban states.

Yesterday morning I started GB2 running my Uldum whiptail profile, ran for about 10 minutes, I can back in the room and saw and Alliance toon kill me. Checked the log and it was the fourth death since starting the bot, I'm assuming all from that alliance since I haven't seen the bot die from mobs while farming. I got my corpse back the last time, flew away, and logged out until this afternoon.

I plan to appeal it, my only concern is that I'd mail lots of gems and ore and inks and some gold between this account and my main, sold the gems and stuff from my main account, although never botted on the main. Do I need to be concerned about this before submitting an appeal?

      Thanks in advance.

Just after two hours of filing a ticket I get a response stating that the account has been restored!

      Lesson: Stay out of Uldum.

Lots of people are getting banend off of Uldum profiles. But id just like to point out that botting for 16-18 hours per day isn't smart. Im not trolling you or calling you stupid or anything, please dont think this, just botting for that long will increase your chances of getting banned.

Yeah I didn't think it was a good idea to bot that long each day, just wasn't as worried about it since I'd switch up it's activity during the day, I think though I'll take it a bit more easy. I thought I'd be more safe in Uldum since I only ran my own profiles, apparently not. I wonder why they wrote it for abuse of economy instead of botting/automation software though.

      Abuse of the Economy

We take action against accounts for Abuse of the Economy when one or more characters on the account are identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy. Please note that this category can include accounts we find to be "supplying" property for exchange to "real-world" currency. "Supplying" can be described as otherwise normal in-game play (such as gathering ore and herbs) and filtering these goods to a final account for the "real-world" currency exchange.

I'd rather not put the exact message up, but more or less said I've no clue what I've done to deserve this ban but I most certainly was not involved in any gold selling as your email states and that I'd like to keep playing the game. Was only a couple sentences and to the point. I doubt the actual content matters as much as actually just appealing the ban.
