      So I was trying to download profiles and everytime I go to download a profile it tells me I don't have sufficient rights. My account may need to be activated (it already has been) or my account has been disabled. But why?

      Well, you should be able to download nevertheless, since it will stop you anyway if you would try to enter an invalid code.
