Whats the best way to make gold in this economy?

I farm elementium ore in Uldum for a few hours a day - it's actually pretty dead there, although you will see the other botters - then send to my bank alt and advertise in trade channel that I want to sell bulk elementium ore. I've got a couple of private buyers that I just COD when I get new ore. This is merely just a way to make enough money to move onto bigger things.

it all comes down to the population of the server....

but a Jewelcrafter can never be wrong.

 

On my server the gems usually sold for 5-10g (like purified, etched etc ) only the red ones go for 150g or more. But there is at least 10 AH shark with gem "buisness" so i can sell my farmed stuff rarely..... Herbs are good especially azshara's veil ( rougly 140g/stk. )

But as others said, the prizes and the market is depends on the server's economy. A good tip: farm rare noncombat pets they usually goin well

 

I'll mine the most, prospecting it all. And doing gems from the uncutted i got from prospecting. The prospect mats i'll send over to my Alchemy character with Transmution master and make Meta gems (Shadowspirit Diamond) often and sell on AH. Pretty good profit.

 

Seems to be a problem with the grind bot tho? its pretty dense or stupid, got no real flow when it farms. Honestly prefer the waypoint system pirox had over this grind area business, sure it seems easier to set up a area to grind in HB, but in pirox once u had put in the effort to have a good route you would have an actuall good route.

 

I have several people that buy all the mats I farm f2f. I rather not mess with the AH if I don't have to.

 

whould be nice with a plugin that plays the AH 24/7 haha

I back this up 100% WOW gold selling is done for as the economy get's worse day in, pack your bags boys because until MoP your not going to make nothing but a hole in your pocket.

 

The best way is, in my experience, to wash black gold with white intentions.
This is it:

You start farming minerals and getting some gold. With 1k you can start to create a guild, offering 100g per sign. When you have it, you just fire them, and this is the moment when you start to fill your guild vaults and the guild account of gold.
Some days after the founding you start recluting players. You are nice, you are vibrant, and you place a rotative weekly system that fills 1 tab of the guild bank with items for a specific weekly profession. That way, everybody gets its own posibility to grow in its profession. The result of what they produce you can ask to be donated to the guild to be disenchanted for enchanting profession.
If you keep this, you eventually in 2 or 3 months will have all the black gold washed, ppl making guild achievements and generating 250g per achievment, and a free farm of items that you can sell in the AH, depositing the gold in the Guild Bank.
Never leave a sticky black coin glued to even a finger of you. That way you can have a group of players for raids (trained by you and another high end players), a walking social group, and you dont have to pay your bills with your own gold. You just do what every bank does: use the bank gold for bussiness, and stay yourself clean.

Eventually you will be rich and with no need of botting. The players, in the faith of the guild and the "everybody helps for everybody goodness" concept, will farm for you.

I have 1 bot that does herbing/mining for me in uldum sends all the ore to my main which is jc/enchanter i prospect my ore make carnelians into inferno rbuys cut thouth into which ever are higher on market atm, with left over gems i make rings/necklesses , DE them into Celestrial essences Heavenly Shards and Hypnitic Dust then Make Expensive enchants like Power Torrent, Landslide etc sell them on AH or jsut straight u p sell matts on AH I make about 10-15k a day on Darkspear US

 

Everyone has plenty of gold these days, and pay well for novelty items. Grinding pets is making me a shitload of money, around 20-30K per day average with little or no effort. And it requires 2-5 auctions, as opposed to 20-50.
