For some reason this plugin is making my character port to Tol Barad and just sit there and and check for digsites (and do nothing). If I run over to the Stormwind portal and click it, it will then port to TB again. Any ideas why?
Goin to give this a try "havent done all the portal quests however" What version do i need to download? im alliance if that helps..
Mine just did an odd thing: hearth to Gadgetzan, step out of the inn, teleport to Dalaran, mount, fly to the Violet Citadel, before entering it flew about two hundred yards into the air, spun around in a circle extremely fast for a few seconds, then flew back down, landed, walked inside VC, and took the portal to Caverns of Time as if nothing strange had just occurred. Figured using Gadgetzan as my hearth would maybe save on teleport runes, but I guess not.
hmm, ill have to try to come up with a solution to this i think it happened because i have penalties in place to prevent using ports when the hearthstone is available (to save on reagents), but this penalty doesn't make sense when you're in the correct zone already i'd need to see the debug log to work out what happened are you sure it wasnt downloading meshes? i figure most people dont have tol barad already downloaded. its meshes take quite some time to download this plugin automatically detects which quests youve done to work out which portals you have available to you. use the latest version, unless you have extra-strage navigation issues, then use the older one. no idea on gadgetzan. perhaps it thought your hearth was set for dalaran instead. ive seen the very high up into the air thing once before, but ive never been able to recreate it in order to work around it. again, this isnt the plugin, this is honorbuddys own navigation causing that.
0.14 added Argent Crusader's Tabard added Jaina's Locket (untested) added Boots of the Bay (untested) now restarts archaeologybuddy directly. seems to work - means if hearthomatic bugs out, stopping and starting HB will now reset it (previously you had to close and restart HB completely) new zone_id check allows for multiple pulses before giving up flightor seems completly broken in dalaran. what looks like a new method of flying forward and upwards is causing the direction to get stuck turned on when a plugin calls the function. ive found what seems to be a suitable solution, however i noticed my character would crash into buildings every now and then, a real person might do that, so lets just call it a design feature replaced dalaran entry path .... again ignored portal penalty when we're in the same zone as it's entry adjustments to loosen waypoint tolerances
you know the thing where it flies up and goes around in circles to go down again? Its been doing that to me since yesterday. In Org, Dala and Undercity. Especially in undercity its dangerous because there is a roof and it looks really bad when the toon is flying like that... Im a mage btw and I really love your plugin
this was fixed in the latest version (0.14) its a new thing introduced in honorbuddy that makes it harder for plugins to override where a bot is trying to go portals require reagents, that run out hearthstone does not so the hearthstone has priority maybe you should set your hearth somewhere strategic, rather than a place you can already port to
yup true its fixed for the other places but not in udercity. Maybe its not your plugin then but the HB itself?
ah, damn. yeah its HB. i assume you are teleporting there with teleport:undercity? can you record me a series of waypoints to fly to to get from the portal point to outside? i can add them to my undercity teleport, so that it follows it before handing control back to HB its best if each is within line of sight of the previous, it supports flying, it can be as long or as short as you need, and i try to overestimate the position where the waypoint should be so that the bot doesnt get stuck when it tries to cut a sharp corner eg, this is the stormwind escape path. it just walks through the portal and down the spiral stairs and takes a few steps outside: (-9018.447, 887.8731, 29.6206), (-9011.675, 867.67, 147.2538), (-9004.104, 868.0667, 142.9046), (-9003.69, 876.8965, 138.0133), (-9012.8, 875.5212, 133.1509), (-8999.803, 862.4565, 129.4713) use the developers tools functions to get your current position. hint, double click it
Alright I will try and do this when I wake up. Keep in mind I have never recorded anything or made anything with HB before. Im new to all of this haha. First step will be to actually find a good way to leave Undercity since its a bit complicated with going into the inner core where you have the bank and then you have to take the elevator and then through a minor maze before you are out. There is a second way out; The way the wow taxi uses, but I wonder if its not risky since there are lots of places to get stuck at.
I am a horde character and my heartstone is in dalaran. once it found a digsite worth porting to, it hearthed to dalaran, then it flies up in the air and over the dome where the orgrimmar portal is, back and forth, in an infinite loop. i had to manually set my hearthstone in orgrimmar to fix this issue. Brilliant Plugin, however, as a Horde Mage in Kalimdor, Simply Teleporting to Orgrimmar, rather than Tol Barad - > Orgrimmar would make much more sense.
hi Hewett. the plugin simply adds up the distance it would have to travel, and takes the shortest route. the exit location of the teleport: orgrimmar spell is pretty far away from the rest of the portals. but teleport: tol barad is only a 3 second walk from the tol barad -> origrammar portal, so the distance is shorter. the alliance equivalent is identical for the same reason. in the background there are a few extra penalties taken into account for the number of portals used. if your computer isnt super slow on the loading screens then the new path works out a faster route in the end. the added benefit is that its much less error prone. the underground exit location has been quite problematic in the past. i havent checked it in a while tho, i dont have a horde 85mage.
Hearthomatic doesn't seem to be working for me since upgrading to the latest Honorbuddy build. Anyone else have this problem?
looks like some changes to HB has have broken hearthomatic's ability to move. i've noticed some very large delays in Flightor's pathing for even simple straight line scenarios, so much so that ive had to allow for up to 10 second delays at times. there are still some chunky 2-3 seconds of standing still between waypoints in some scenarios that i couldn't fix, thats HB doing that. but hearthomatic is working again at least. out of interest, anyone else notice the tol barad portals, teleports and tabards take you to semi-random locations now? if you have any issues please dont forget to actually include what the issue is! a log is also handy. 0.15 fixed portal clicky distance changes to fix _flyto for flightor's changes in HB 2.0.0.5951
horde is having problems when, port to dala (kirin tor-ring) > portal to og > uldum he flies in a line above the top of the building where the og-portal stands (dalaran)
