Hey everyone I bought 4 sessions of HB and 5 accounts in the hopes that id be able to bot enough to make some real world coin. I tried mining/herbing on each, but that was slow going, I was getting 25g/stack of elementium on KT US which is super overpopulated so I had some trouble making money that way. Then I tried to gear the accounts in ruthless and sell them, but even that proved to be a challenge as no one wants ilvl 386 accounts. So what do I do how do I make money off of this
Haha, its fine, I just want to make some money playing wow rather than flipping burgers, im still a kid in high school so...
i make money playing wow, diablo 3, swtor, and ive never sold gold in my life. i dont mean to rub it in, but maybe instead of trying to gold farm try learning a skill that can help get you into a position you like. programming is a good example, if you wanna make money on the internet be prepared to work ALOT for free, once you get an audience and you get some rep with people, your more likely to get noticed and be desirable to be put in positions that you can have fun in.
What he said. Also, ditch the chump stuff and bot smarter, not harder. You have loads of mats that won't sell? Do the JC shuffle! That's always an option.
You want to make money? Get a job. You want to exploit a game, bot WoW. Making $20 is hardish a month botting. I mean, it's easy, but it's risky. Then you pay $15 for subscription. That's 5 bucks a month you make. Walk around and pick up loose change on the ground, you'll make more money than botting. I left WoW a few months ago, and now I'm back. I regret paying 15 bucks, so now i'm gonna bot until I can sell enough gold to make up for the money I just spent. I remember when .6 dollars per 1000g was a "bad deal", and now look at the prices. .2 to .3... pathetic.
In my oppinion, you can't earn much unless you know people in private. Instead of doing what CNG said I would rather suggest you to get that burger flipping job, cause chances are you spend a lot of time doing something for free and never get hired for anything + the amount of time it would take for you to learn something like programming - you would already have earned some cool cash instead. That's assuming we're only talking from a pure $ standpoint
i make 40 dollars or so a month off wow. but thats not even botting. sure i do it in my freetime, but the real money still comes from buying underpriced items and selling for a % higher when people WILL buy it. stuff like gems flasks enchants all sell great come tuesday night. make a profile to sit there and farm mats for those items, get auctioneer, and find some guild mates or real ID friends that want to buy gold but are afraid of getting hacked. i charge 75 cents per 1k and thats alot considering major websites are down to 50 cents per 1k lol. yay for there not being a bot that takes over the AH. but its for the best. if anyone else on your server uses it your both losing gold
At the moment, I think it's hard to make money with WoW, sometime ago it wasn't, when I was using Pirox, I think it was easier. Now I just use the bot for fun, to being able to control the AH and having gold to buy what you want inside the game makes the game more enjoyable, since I already know and have done everything in WoW.
The problem is that you want to make real money with doing very little effort on your part. Only selling stacks of ore/herbs will not net you the money you want to earn. First, you need to level up these professions to max level: Mining, Herbalism, Jewelcrafting, Alchemy, Inscription, and Enchanting. You don't sell the ore/herbs you farmed. You take all of it and prospect the ore, use a JC to create items from your gems, disenchant the items created by the JC, and sell the enchanting mats. Get carnelains? Good. farm heartblossom and use a Transmutation master alch to make inferno rubies and sell those. Send all of your herbs to an insriptionist to make cards and flip them. When you first start, it is a complicated process. Soon you will figure out how to automate it all. Also, a big mistake would be trying to sell gold now of all times. You are about 4 years too late to do anything super-profitable.
Ive actually gotten lucky with this where one of my guildies get lots of grafics cards, motherboards, ect. and i buy them from him with wow gold and either swap them in with my older parts or go to craigs list. my comp is awesome and i make a few hundred bucks a month on the side.
