This was the last of the healing specs for me. Now I will just be tweaking and making fixes. I'd like to thank my CSCI1730 professor for teaching me some cool stuff that made this possible. If you find bugs or have comments on improving a spec, post in the appropriate thread.
View attachment 5-21-2012_9_29 PM 6316 Log_2.txt Only issue I have had is it's not casting Smite / Holy Fire on certain bosses in DS. Right now I'm doing DeathWing and on the Tentacles / Mutated Corruptions it won't cast Smite / Holy Fire, but as soon as other adds pop up it works fine. Works great other than that. Your healing CCs are amazing. -- UPDATE Turns out the ranges are off on those bosses. If I run in to melee range, it works as designed. Also noticed we're not Prayer of Mending as an Atonement priest. Trying to figure out the names of the CCs so I can tell which spec they go with..
Thanks a lot only one noob question, Do you know if is posible to use desperate prayer and fear? I use the cc just for arenas, thanks
Thanks for the feedback! I put in a fix for prayer of mending. I made a check for GUID that should help and I told it to cast on tank. My only worry is that on major damage, it will get cast a lot. As long as it take about a second for each bounce, should be fine. That would mean about 2 PoH between throwing out PoM. Not so bad. DS ranges have really annoyed me. Range seems to be different in a lot of situations and I haven't found a "1 check fits all". I might just write a range finder method to check everything. For the names... They are all a spinoff of HolyCow!, since Taurens can be all healing classes. So... HolyCow.cs = Holy Paladin RestoCow.cs = Resto Druid ShamCow.cs = Resto Shaman (yes, like ShamWoW with a "C") AtonementCow.cs = Disc Priest with AA DisciplinedCow.cs = Disc Priest without AA DoubtfulCow.cs = Holy Priest (Doubt, like idk if Philip Seymour Hoffman did it or not)
This bot is very good for raids (25man)! pretty high healing. But it seems very slow in heroics, espically when it don't react very fast when the tank is low health, it still maybee heal a dps instead before it goes over to tank and sometimes that's to late, need to be fixed that u can be faster with flash heal on tanks. But i like this cc very much, thx! Any knowledge how this will work out in DS?
Yeah man, heals with atonemen until 50 hp. Is it really slow in heroics? We are talking dugeons? Or Lgr?
I'm talking about heroics. It's slow when dps and tank takes damage at the same time, if not dps takes any dmg it will easy do good. And in Dungeons it seems to be harder because the tank is not as geared as in heroics, so it needs to be quicker there to! I love this cc, just a little bit improvement and i will think it rocks!
Exactly my thoughts as well. It's slow in 5-man HC, easily letting the tank go down to 50%. Also, when at 63%, he does not heal the tank. Probably because it's between the 60% and 75% margins? As stated above, when dps and tank get dmg, he is slow to react. When not Smite-specced, he will heal all party members to full during combat. But, with Smite specced, he will heal the party members AFTER combat. Not during, so a lot of times when we leave combat we have 3/4 members at 66-80 percent health. And THEN he starts healing... I'd prefer to top off health on my party members all the time, not only after combat. But as said earlier, when not speccing Smite, all is well!
I've been reading here as well, while using the Disc CC. Nonetheless, I see the same issues occuring here as in de Holy CC. They seem to both have the same logic (same programmer? ) I have to intervene quite a lot, when healing. Sometimes it just let's the group take dmg before it starts healing, or even let the tank die while trying to Smite Heal a dps. This is based on the Disc CC. So, issues I notice in Disc, but also applied to Holy as I can see: - Renew not working at all, although configured at 95% - Not topping off hp; when health of a party member is between 60-75% it does not heal them at all. It only Smite heals. Healing to 100% with Heal/Greater Heal only AFTER combat has ended (or health drops lower than that) - Letting tank take a lot of dmg, before starting to Flash Heal, trying to compensate with Smite/Holy cast - Actually prefers to Smite/Holy heal and letting other group members take dmg - Buffing PW:F and Shadow Protection every minute (literally every minute, always +59 minutes up) - Slow to react; starts healing late (first group member is <90% health before starting to do anything other than Penance / Shield - Not prioritizing tank, so tank dies while healing dps - Not Mass Dispelling Important note: Healing in Disc while NOT Smite specced is perfect!! It's fast, it's accurate, it's ... using more mana. Still buffing every minute, not prioritizing the tank, but... a lot better than Smite specced. Also cross-posted this in Disc thread, so ppl might benefit somehow from both posts.
Dude, post a log!!! For buffing, I need to figure that out. Heres how spite healing works... -hp> 50heal with atonement -hp<50 flash heal. -Penance on cd -Shield on tank -Keep PoM out. -PoH 2+ members Hp<75 Spells not used: Heal, Greater Heal, Renew. I dont use renew with disc. Not even on my action bar. What is your Flash heal set at?
Hey Ama! Can you please check out the Holy CC thread as well? (many of these problems are present in the other CC, renew is hardly ever used, the slowness, and the constant buffing). I wrote the details in the other post.
The update you've made yesterday works mircales. In combination with the Glyph of Smite (I did not have that, shame on me) it works very well now! - Slowness? Not seen it anymore - Inner Will buff > I last a lot longer with mana (not to do with this cc though) - Heal and Greater Heal are used after combat, not in combat. But the slow response is gone and Smite/Holy Fire healing is working fine now! - Renew is indeed not programmed into Atonement. It is however available in the settings in the non-smite specced Disc, but not working when set to 95% - Flash heal set at 60%, because at 50% sometimes group members died when getting massive dmg - Buffing is fixed, great! So, only one more issue. When I do not select a target (mob), the Priest just stands there and does nothing. Lets the group members die. As soon as I select a target (or use Lazyraider with Auto targetting) it works. Maybe it is intended this way though. Ah, one more thing though; the cc prefers to heal everyone up to full before casting Resurrection. Is that intentional as well? Most of the time group members are asking for a ress, when I am busy healing the others first. Seeing we're not doing combat anyway, healing the others would be a lower priority then ressing? Also, in standard settings the cc prefers to drink first, before ressing. Although there is plenty of mana left to ress.
