to prevent non-agent classes from trying to enter restricted zones/areas, can i delete the entire quest line from the profile? if so, so i delete the entire quest text (from pick up, to doing the quest, to the turn in). or can i get away with being lazy by deleting just the "pick-up" text? for example, <PickUpQuest QuestName="The Leak" QuestId="0xE0002FE18F814730" GiverName="Senior Science Officer Sakoal" X="-23.17765" Y="9.4682" Z="182.0676" /> if i delete the pick up command, then my character wont have that quest, therefor he shouldn't have reason to enter the area that quest requires right? or is it scripted that my character visits every coordinate group located in the profile script? sorry for all the stupid questions, im new to this program and would like to get it working on autopilot as much as possible for future characters, even if i have to go back on each planet and do the quest specific stuff.
Yes, but *all* pickups are for all classes if you can't pick it up... chances are that you didn't complete your own class questline and bioware wants you to do the quests together (i've seen this on quite a few worlds) but yes, you can delete the pickup... but it may have unforeseen consequences
What profile is that from ? If a non agent is trying to enter an agent area we will fix it for everyone.
for Hawker: it's for sorcerer. a couple times, most recent one is on Bamorra, but that was a couple hours ago. if it happens again, ill at a minimum get the location of where i got stuck at. for Kick: that was just an example i copy/pasted. i didn't know that the "pickup" line items were for generic quest lines open to all classes. was just the first one i seen, figured that there was a code somewhere that prevented or allowed certain classes to get certain quests. i was hoping to pluck that code out and do a planet sweep of generic quests, then go back and run through my class manually.
if your sorc is trying to get into agent ... then it's prob a mesh issue (ie: elevators) also, i'm in the middle of balmorra on my dark inq. I haven't tested light and I don't support that profile for Inq's yet if the dark profile says <!-- Ele here --> then chances are that Aevitas hasn't added it to the mesh (but it's been reported)
